After 9 months they open their newly protected restaurant. It is now a larger place with parking.

In short summary my experience they have got new building but lost their foot test.

Jhaubon Restaurant in Cox's Bazar is a well-known establishment celebrated for its authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, particularly its fresh seafood offerings. Many patrons have praised the variety and quality of fish dishes available, noting that the seafood is both fresh and delicious. The restaurant is also recognized for its assortment of traditional bhortas (mashed vegetable dishes) and loitta fish fry, which have been highlighted as must-try items.

However, some recent visitors have expressed concerns regarding a decline in both food and service quality. Specific feedback points to smaller portion sizes and a decrease in taste compared to previous experiences.

Despite these mixed reviews, Jhaubon Restaurant remains a popular choice for those seeking local flavors in Cox's Bazar. Its reputation for serving quality food since its inception continues to draw both locals and tourists alike.

In summary, if you're in Cox's Bazar and eager to experience traditional Bangladeshi seafood, Jhaubon Restaurant offers a variety of dishes that have been well-received by many. However, it's advisable to manage expectations due to recent feedback concerning service and...

Jhawban Restaurant, a well-known name in Cox’s Bazar, offers a traditional dining experience that combines local flavors with a cozy ambiance. Located near the bustling heart of the town, this restaurant has long been a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

The highlight of Jhawban is its authentic Bengali cuisine. Their signature dishes, such as shorshe ilish (hilsa in mustard sauce) and prawn malai curry, are rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. The seafood, freshly sourced from the nearby waters, stands out for its quality and taste. They also offer a variety of other options, including biryanis, curries, and vegetarian dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a hint of traditional decor that reflects Bengali culture. It’s a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The service, while friendly, can be slightly slow during peak hours, but the staff’s courteousness makes up for it.

Pricing at Jhawban is reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. It’s not the cheapest option in town, but the value for money is undeniable.

Overall, Jhawban Restaurant is a must-visit in Cox’s Bazar for anyone looking to savor authentic flavors in a welcoming...

This is the second branch of JhauBon Restaurant. Once well-known in Cox’s Bazar for its food and service, but unfortunately the quality seems to have gone down over time.

I visited for breakfast and found most of the items on the menu unavailable, which was very disappointing. I had to settle for paratha, lentil curry, poached egg, beef with potatoes, and tea. The experience, however, was far from satisfying. The poached egg was broken, as can be clearly seen in the picture, the beef curry was overloaded with oil and bones, and the tea tasted very poor — even roadside tea stalls serve better.

On top of that, even though air conditioning was available, they didn’t turn it on, and the overall environment was not satisfactory at all.

Overall, the standard is nowhere near what JhauBon used to be known for. The management really needs to focus on improving food quality, service, and environment if they want to regain...

Had a fantastic experience at this remarkable restaurant near Sugandha/Laboni Beach Point. We took coral fish curry, loitta fry, mix veg and daal. Every item was delicious, and they provided us with generous refills each time we asked for it. They served complementary boroi er achar and salad, which increased our appetite. We also had sweetcurd afterwards, which, I think, could've been better. The restaurant was crowded but quite spacious, the atmosphere was decent with excellent service from the waiters. I found there foods to be affordable and tasteful. I'd certainly revisit them for trying other items.

Best food in Cox's bazar. I have eaten in several restaurants during my stay but this is by far the best. Worth every penny. It's a little expensive than others but the food will compensate it. (TRUST ME). This is a branch of original Jhaubon. But the food is same I tell you. The loitta fry was 160 taka but look at the amount they give. The boroi achar was complimentary but you should definitely try it even if you have to buy.
