PRICE
The price is way too expensive for a bunk bed. I paid 30 euros (33 US dollars) for it. Compared to other dormitories, it is at least doubled.
Worse, when I asked the people there, they paid much less than me.
SERVICE
The hostel did not communicate with me prior to arrival on how to get there. It was a huge complex inside a courtyard with many buildings. I had to ask a local to help me.
The entrance to the dormitory has a small note in the Belarusian language. The locals there helped me to understand that I needed to go to the office, which was different location to get the code.
Without internet on my phone, I managed to get to the office. After payment, the woman at the reception REFUSED to point me to the location of the dormitory. She said several times: "We do NOT take you there".
I had to get a bit angry, saying I am a foreigner here. She replied: "All other foreigners could find it". I said: "Can you move away from the desk just a few meters, go to the door of your office and just point me in the right direction?". She reluctantly did so.
When I told her maybe it was a good idea to have the door note in English, she said: "It was not me".
Luckily, I had a really kind local man who walked me to the dormitory.
I have traveled to more than 150 countries, stayed in war-zones, being in the most shitty hostels in the world, but this attitude is my first to encounter.
CLEANLINESS
The dormitory is mixed gender. It is extremely basic, no storage, no personal light, and very crowded.
The photos on the websites are misleading.
The mattresses are so old, having lost all the elastic, there is a "valley" in the middle, so my body could almost feel the bed frame below.
You need to take the linen from the closet and make the bed yourself. the linen is rough. The blanket is smelly. On the mattress there were wooden debries (???) I couldn't sleep because my whole body was itchy.
Conclusion: Don't go here. EVER. There is a dormitory just opposite the street which is half the price, extremely clean, safe, with a...

Read moreЧтобы сразу было все понятно, объясню: у Hostel in Tower (на букинге - In Tower Hostel) и у апартаментов на ул.
