Sherlock Coffee Hall — Restaurant in Minsk

Booked a table for two for the music night they have and was greeted by absolute ignorance of my presence as I was standing at the bar. Eventually was told to sit anywhere and after we did as I went to get my order 2 girls were seated in my place by the barista who then was rude to explain that the place was theirs because they knew him (traditionally typical in Belarus as I noticed from my travels but unacceptable by any means). During the order the barista was not paying any attention to what I was saying (I was speaking Russian) with his head in the clouds. Due to his lack of attention, slacking service and atrocious rudeness I've cancelled my order (what was a problem and a half as they didn't even know how to do it) and left. After a year and a half of not visiting, from when the owners used to do the serving, they have hired two new baristas and the service has gone down the hill since then! Never...

The coffee is very good and desserts are tasty. The decor is very English to go with the theme and done tastefully. It is very cozy, but also has places for groups. It's kid friendly, but it's definitely more of a place couples and groups of young adults go. The drinks are little pricey (compared to other shops in Minsk), but overall about a normal price, and the sizes are small- a large latte fits in a regular coffee mug. A very trendy place you...
