Quay17 is an exceptional BB that qualified for Michelin listing while achieving nearly perfect scores on major booking sites. The property is in a quiet location with picturesque canal views that resemble those found only in fairy tales (See pic). A five-minute walk and you'll be in the Brugge Market with shops, historic attractions and all the tourist action. Hosts Hans and Tamara provided top service with a lot of personnel touches. We much enjoyed the evening chat outside the self-service bar that has a variety of drinks including a beer made from a historical recipe found at Quay 17 during renovation. Rooms are spotless with modern amenities representative of a luxury hotel including large showers, sitting areas, heated towel racks, coffee maker and chocolates on the bed. BB views are all picturesque either the canal/historic homes or a courtyard / old-world church. You can't go wrong. Breakfast was high quality with fresh homemade pastries, juice, tea/coffee, tasty omelets and many traditional continental choices. Throughout the morning meal Hans and Tamara provided great service including helping with dinner reservations and daily activities. Overall amazing BB that has yet to reach its 1yr anniversary since opening in Oct of 2024 ... Hans/Tamara you've got a bright future ahead!! Hoping someday we can come back to...
Read moreStayed here for two nights at the start of the Xmas markets and a visit to Bruges! A fantastic place! Beautifully renovated with the old beams and memorabilia from the renovations so sympathetically and with great quality done! The views of the canal whilst having breakfast of freshly ground coffee, eggs, chopped fresh fruit, pastries set the day off. A pleasant stroll into the main part of town. Boat rides and dinner reservations recommended by Hans. Nothing was too much trouble for them!! There’s also an honesty bar with Quay 17’s own beer. It was a brewery at the back many years ago. A very pleasant place to sit and have a drink. Everywhere decorated tastefully for Xmas. In the evening we returned to a Belgium chocolate left on our beds by these lovely hosts!! Can’t recommend this...

Beyond the fantastic accommodations, the hosts were exceptionally welcoming—from champagne upon our arrival to spot-on recommendations throughout our stay. They even arranged dinner reservations for us at wonderful restaurants.
Breakfast was fantastic. On our last morning, when we mentioned we’d need to check out before breakfast was served, Tamara prepared a quick meal that included delicious lox wraps, fresh fruit, and pastries.
Bruges is an incredible town on its own, but this gem made our trip truly...
