Cézar hits the spot in all categories 🔥 with a focus on traditional french/flemish cuisine and meats this restaurant knows what they serve and how they want to serve it to you. We had bavette and steak tartare, the first of which was well seasoned with a well made mushroom sauce of the side. The steak tartare was seasoned at the table, which was a nice touch. Desserts (chocolate mousse and a crème brulée) were also very well executed. The wait staff clearly knew how the food was prepared and were friendly, although a bit in a rush at some points, which wasn't annoying and also understandable as they managed the dining room with just the two of them. The restaurant itself was well decorated in a way that I don't see that often, with the wallpaper, colors of the napkins and plates matching, every seat intentionally being one-of-a-kind and the lights being at just the right level. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I definitely don't recommend visiting if you don't want to spoil your impression of Belgium, as happened to me. I've visited many restaurants in many countries but I've never been treated as arrogantly as I was here.

Three of us ordered food, but one of us didn't feel well, so he only ordered a drink. We waited about 15 minutes, without drinks, for the waiter to tell us that all of us had to order food, otherwise we had to leave. I found that incomprehensible, so I had to discuss it with the restaurant manager. She really behaved in an unspeakably arrogant manner, and she sent us out of the restaurant with a sneer, because one of us only ordered a drink. Awful experience with the service… we had a table at 13:15h and when we arrived the waitress arrogantly said that the kitchen closed at 13:30h. We were waiting 3 min for two of us who were parking and when they arrived she barely allowed us to have a look at the menu… plus, we asked her for recommendations and she gave us 0 tips.
