Pousada Ponta da Pedra — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Acaraú

Star rating is based on location, breakfast and staff. This is not a luxury 4 star hotel.||The guesthouse is immediately by the beach and next to Club Ventos making it a great place to stay for windsurfers hiring equipment there.||Accommodation was very simple - room doors opened straight to the outside. You get a view of the beach from the doorway. Rooms were very simply furnished - 1 single and 1 double bed, fridge(ours was slightly rusty) stocked with beer, water and soft drinks, shelf and short length of rail for hanging clothes, shower room. Room was well provided with sockets for 3-pin Brazilian plugs.||Excellent breakfast was served in shaded area by the beach and a number of sun-loungers were available overlooking the beach, shaded by a few trees.||Staff were very friendly and helpful. ||||While we stayed there live music could be heard every evening from nearby cafes but this usually finished before 8pm and action moved to the other side of the village a short walk away. Great choice for windsurfers. ClubVentos is next door with easy access… rooms have aircon, tv with netflix, lots of space for hanging clothes. Silent and dark to sleep. They leave every day big bottles of water in fridge for a small amount which I found to be a great surprise. Simple inn but the location is unbeatable. Breakfast is amazing, overlooking the beach and with amazing food (you can order tapioca, eggs…) Also staff is great, always smiling and willing to help. Room service daily. Small details in room like wine glasses and candy. I stayed in a room in the superior floor which I totally recommend if you can pick a room. We were on a week trip to Jeri, Prea, and Jijoca. In all honesty, if we would have written this review right after staying at the pousada, we would have given it 5 stars. The place is great, location excellent, breakfast nice, and the people really friendly. ||The only reason for a somewhat lower rating is the comparison to the places we stayed after. This pousada is somewhat less luxurious than the other two. Nevertheless, we can highly recommend...
