Pouso Alforria — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de São João del Rei

In the first sight the Pousada Pouso Alforria seems to be nothing special. But this impression does not take long. You will be requested to leave your key in the reception, everytime you go out. The reason is because they use to organize your room, in the afternoon, preparing your bed, with blankets and sheets, to provide you a lovely night. A chocolate is always left in your pillow and also they colect any sanitary paper in your bathroom. The breakfast does not have many items, as you see in big hotels, but all they have are more than enough and made in a personal way: eggs, home made bread and cake. The pão de queijo ( a brazilian bread made with a kind of feta cheese and manioca powder) hot chocolate , milk, coffee or tea are fresh prepared for you and served in your table. You can ask for all of them , if you want to! ||They also informed us about the atractions of the city, restaurants and everything we wanted to know about Tiradentes and the historical cities nearby. ||Even the clothes that I washed myself and left under a chair in my room, were colected and put to dry. We felt like home and very well treated.||The hotel has just 8 rooms and does not accept children under 12 years old. Just lovely and perfect...

We stayed here for two nights and loved every minute. spacious rooms with confortável beds. Great showers, gás not eléctric só they can be hot and powerful. Every member of staff made us feel extremely welcome and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The owner is also on hand to help and for a chat. Coffee and nibbles are available all day on request and they will even bring them down to the pool. ||||Purpose designed, the hotel is modern and spotless,with several carefully thought out comunal spaces, including some in the spacious grounds. A pousada é bem localizada e boa. Íamos a pé para o centro e gastávamos apenas 10 minutos. O quarto que ficamos, na área nova, era muito bom, espaçoso e com uma varanda pra uma vista bem bonita. A cama e o chuveiro excelentes. O atendimento do hotel foi muito bom e o pessoal bem educado e simpático. | |Porém, a pousada, precisa urgentemente de algumas melhorias: ||Os quartos não tem blecaute, o que atrapalhou um pouco meu sono ao amanhecer, devido à claridade. Precisam investir, pra ontem, nisso!|O café da manhã precisa muito melhorar a logística: chegávamos e não tinha as mesinhas montadas com os talheres, pratos, etc. Tínhamos que esperar a funcionária ver que chegamos e colocar na nossa mesa para começarmos a servir. Normalmente, nos demais hotéis, as mesas já ficam preparadas para receber os hóspedes, ou, se não, na mesa principal fica um montante de pratos/talheres/copos para cada um pegar o seu. ||Outro ponto que incomodou foi o fato que não tinha pão de queijo na mesa, tínhamos que pedir e esperar por volta de uns 20 a 30 minutos para ficar pronto. Seria interessante se eles já deixassem preparados e colocassem em uma estufa para manter a temperatura. |Senti falta de uma tostadeira também. | |No mais, o café da manhã é ok, básico, mas senti falta de algumas coisinhas como croissant e mais variedade de pães. |Por outro lado, os sucos estavam maravilhosos, os ovos mexidos e os pães de queijo também. ||Se a pousada ajustar esses pontos, que são fáceis, e colocar cortina nos quartos, com...
