Pousada Malibu — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

We were very lucky to get the room, actually after that our reservation was confirmed for other pousada and after buying the flight tickets only 2 days before the trip, pousada was canceled day after because was already full! But, we haven't been abandoned. As people on FdN are very nice they found us room in Pousada Malibu, inaugurated on 15. December 2014. We were the first guests in room No 5. Everything was completely new, fresh painted. Room is spacy, has private bathroom, with air condition, small fridge, TV with Sky connection, Wi-Fi which didn't work well but this is the problem on all the island, also 3G doesn't work well. All is very clean. Changing the towels is daily and sheets every second or third day(I don't remember well). It's safe as whole island is, oasis of Brazil. We were with 10 month old baby and they provided crib, again completely new.||Breakfast is served in Pousada de Germana, just next to Malibu. Owner is the same. Stuff is very polite, friendly, happy to prepare for you or to teach how to do tapioca (north-east specialty, kind of crap). Also they would prepare omlete and few other things on request. Daily are serving fresh juice, yogurt, coffee, fruits, hams, cheese, some worm pie or similar.... ||Just accros the pousada is super-market which also has inside small bakery. Location is good, 10 min walking from Praia do Cachorro, Praia do Meio and about 15 min from Praia da Conceicao (which we liked the most of three). There are also some restaurants near by as well.||Considering priced on island and standard of accommodation facilities I would judge value for...

I stayed at Malibu with my wife and it was a great decision. ||The staff is nice and friendly. They help you with any tip you need to plan your trip. ||The rooms are good with a comfortable bed, mini bar, cable tv and good shower. ||Breakfast is great. Especially the "tapiocas".||Location is perfect. There is a supermarket in front of the entrance. Very close to bus stop. Walking distance to Praia do cachorro, Praia do meio e Praia da conceicao. ||I wish I can come back to Fernando de Noronha and I would definitely stay at...

This place has good, but with small rooms and no extra amenities - ok if you are staying one night, as I was. The rooms are new, with very good equipments. Other than that, the 'pousada' doesn't offer anything (no pool, no garden, no restaurant - except an area for breakfast). Location is good, close to the island main commercial area, but the street where it is located is very dirty and with a bad smell. Be aware there are several roosters around and you will be waken up before 5am because of them... The breakfast...
