ibis Sao Paulo Barra Funda — Hotel in Região Imediata de São Paulo

The hotel was clean, but the rooms were a bit more basic than other ibis I have stayed at, though still better than the Ibis budget version. The foyer area was really nice, but they should have had a free water dispenser since you can’t drink the tap water. We arrive late at night and had no water, there was no complimentary bottles in the rooms and so we had to go to the bar and buy their over priced water ( although we did find more expensive water than theirs during the trip so perhaps not too bad for a hotel). The breakfast was ok, but the kids would have loved a pancake or waffle machine ( even the Ibis Budget we stayed at once had a pancake machine, but I guess we were in Brazil). The room keys were annoying as required quite a fiddle to get the electronics to read them and open the door. The staff are what made this hotel, all very friendly and helpful even if we couldn’t speak their language. Many of them spoke english to some degree. The restaurant food was ok, but you wouldn’t want to eat there too often as really only 2 burgers, a calzone and several pizza on offer. The kids were happy with the chocolate banana pizza and the chocolate M and M pizza though and they give yummy thin pizza strips for free to nibble on. Not much selection of wine, but at least they had some unlike some restaurants we went to. Location about R20 from central city attractions depending if taking taxi or Uber. There was a taxi stand opposite but if you don’t speak Portuguese it is much easier to take Uber, then they have your destination programmed in already and have a map to follow. Great value for...

We stayed in this property last night and it offers all the basics of a home away from home at a decent budget. |Lovely decor in the lobby and restaurant areas. Unfortunately the theme only goes as far the hallways - the rooms are plain and boring. The air conditionings the room was not the most efficient and they do have an issue with the water pressure (we were on the 11th floor). |The neighbourhood seems a bit rough but the hotel is lovely. I’d not go walking around the hotel area - ‘working girls’ stand on the streets nearby chasing business in the evening, the neighbourhood is unattractive and dirty with not much worth seeing really. |Great breakfast options - worth the money! |Service at Sponta restaurant was friendly but very slow - I needed to chase the staff to get the menu and to order despite being in one of the only two tables occupied. |I would not hesitate booking to stay here again for a...

Vamos lá. Espero que leiam e sirva para algo. em comparação ao preço exercido pelo hotel, principalmente por não incluir o estacionamento e café da manha. A iluminação é horrivel, principalmente para se barbear ou para mulheres de maquiarem. A cortina, ao abrir, geramente a mão se esbarra na iluminária que é fixa no armário, fazendo com que parte solta da iluminária caia no chao. Na parte da manha, caso queira tomar apenas um café expresso, não é póssivel porque o cafe pizza não oferece este serviço e não pagaria 50 reias numa xicara de café O elevador, na parte da manha quando há um movimento muito grande nos elevadores, faz com que o elevador já completo nos andares mais altos, obrigatoriamente acaba por parando por praticamente todos os anderes inferiores, aumentando demasiadamente o tempo para que os hóspedes consigam descer para tomar café ou para ir aos seus compromissos. Poderia ter alguem auxiliando pelo menos nestes horários. O espaço da café pizza, poderia ter tomadas na maioria das mesas, já que os primeiros hóspedes que chegam e ocupam estas mesas que possuem tomadas para alimentarem seus notebooks não saem e impossibitam outros hospedes de ]usarem estas tomadas. Facil solu~ção instalando mais tomadas no local. No banheiro, poderiam ter chuveirinhos para uso junto com os vasos sanitários para higiene, já que não gosto de papel higienico ou evito ao máximo. Tive que tomar banho todas as vezes que precisava fazer o numero 2. Facil solução e economizaria agua para o hotel.

e finalmente minha esposa teve muito,muuito, muito trabalho para a reserva, alhás acho que deveria mudar a nota dada. O hotel apresentava como sem vagas para a data selecionada. E na plataforma acho que do Booking aparecida vagas disponíveis, o que foi feito. Entretanto, por politica da empresa, precisaria que fosse pago de forma atencipada, evitaria usar a conta pessoal do funcionário e também que transportasse dinheiro em espécie. A plafatorma informou que poderia ser feito o pagamento diretamente com o hotel, e o hotel não aceitava. foram horas e dias para conseguir um procedimento que deveria ser simples. Finalmenrte, pelo preço apresentado pelos hoteis concorrentes, no caso pela localizão priveliagiada do evento que estava acontecendo, o preço era o triplo dos concorrentes, que ainda forneciam de forma gratuita café da manha e estacionamento. Portanto, se depender da minha pessoas ou da minha esposa, não voltaremos mais pelas razões...
