We stayed there July 2017. Very good location ON a clean sandy beach. Sea water very clean with a long patch of shallow water, so it is suitable for children and non-swimming adults. Sunbeds and umbrellas free on the beach. Clean hotel pool, free sunbeds and umbrellas available, as well. Room are very clean with free air-conditioning. Restaurant food was excellent, varied and and it was never crowded. Tables indoors and outdoors. Grill outside every day. Entertainment team for children. Staff speak Bulgarian, English, German, Russian. I must add, very efficient management of the hotel. Congratulations. Balchik is close by, which is a must see, a few minutes journey by taxi or car.

Overall the greatest points for this hotel are the location, which is placed 50 metres from the beach and the food. The hotel itself is very old, the rooms are clean but everything is old in terms of furniture and mostly everything else. If you want something cheap, this is for you, if you want something medium or to the high end, this place is not for you. Also, the food is typical all inclusive food, but the good part is that if you're traveling with a kid, he won't get food poisoning or other weird stuff from their food, which for me was a good thing about this hotel.

We didn’t stay in this hotel but busted their pool bar. Service was quick and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. I asked if my daughter could use the pool whist we had our drinks but told no. It closes at 5 and it’s for hotel customers. This was fine it was only a request so she could cool down. All the bats and restaurants on this complex close at 11pm. It’s good for families and you see security around the hotels. There were lots of nice bars and restaurants to try besides this bar. .

The hotel is very well located right on the beach.||The parking is under the trees across the road and a few places (5) next to it, in any case, you have to wash the car well from dust and what falls from the trees when you leave.||Friendly staff at the reception, who knew English, compared to other hotels where a few years ago only German or Russian was spoken.||We arrived at 1 p.m., we checked in after lunch at 2 p.m.||The man who was in charge of carrying the luggage had a strange behavior, even superior, he waved his hands ostentatiously when he heard that we didn't have our luggage with us but in the car,||I told him chill man, let me see the room and we'll bring the luggage too, you just don't want me to sit in a pile with them at the reception, but he was probably annoyed that if he doesn't get something until the elevator, he doesn't get a tip, anyway when we were looking at him from the front to the camera||he disappeared from us without saying anything, probably he was in a hurry to catch other tourists for some trouble.||The room looks good, bigger than some 4-star hotels, the bathroom is clean, but with a specific sewage smell, the room seemed clean, but on a closer look, under the beds,||after the furniture, heavy dust, dead wasps, live mosquitoes, etc., it looks like it was cleaned, only superficially. At least at check out it should be cleaned properly.||In the bathroom, I later discovered that the sink was leaking from the flexible connection glued with insulating tape, I would rather give him 2 leva to change it with a new one of 32.||Beds with fine mattresses, except that one had problems with his legs, he had two more added, they move from all the joints. I had something similar many years ago at Elitsa.||The towels are changed, the linen has not been changed in 8 days.||On the balcony two chairs and a table, plastic, one with a broken backrest, rusty iron on the railings, but at least a view of the sea.||The window was from the stone age, with loose gaskets hanging in the air, it could be heard from outside as if it wasn't there, mosquito netting like the window, I had to do a DIY to make it so that I don't have various things in the room.||Wasps entered the hallway with difficulty, and the room under the door, many dead ones cleaned after 24 hours daily, from the nest in room 418, as it were, where there was a nest after all.||The elevators, three in number, were ok. The house of stairs ok.||The bars, three in number, are ok, the staff are friendly.||The pool was ok.||The food was so and so, that is, many times the cook made fun of it, for example he made bread (such as schnitzel) without deboning the fish, everyone threw this dish away.||The meat was often medium red, I don't know how many people eat something like that on vacation.||There is fish, chicken and pork, but you have to learn to cook it first, there were salads, the daily side dish of baked or fried potatoes once in a while, broccoli you broke your teeth in it because it wasn't peeled properly or enough iron.||There was a day with turkey in the oven, there was fish on the grill, but the grill was next to the pool bar, you didn't even know that something was being done there.||In the morning, eggs, pancakes, waffles were made on a tiny stove, smaller than mine at home. You stood in line for 15 minutes for the bitter pancakes, instead of putting a 1000x1000 plate to put 5 pancakes at a time and the rest next to it, two pancakes were made and the plate was filled.||You had something to eat, I'm not lying, but if you have a more complicated child or want something more different than a meat with potatoes, or a boiled egg or eyes, a yogurt with jam or honey, a coffee and fried bread, or an ice cream at lunch you don't really have anything else.||The coffee was good, juice at the dispenser with some pulp, sometimes diluted, spoiled apple juice, water at the dispenser, good draft beer, good draft wine, local alcoholic drinks.||The cleaning staff, predominantly Asian, did a good job, except that the chairs in the restaurant were very dirty, full of food scraps.||The beach was the best place, flour with plastic deckchairs, no mattresses, the first two rows for money, very good so no one crowded in front, quite clean, with some cigarette butts and leftovers.||The people, 75% Romanian, generally behaved well, I met much worse.||In general, you pay for 3 stars, the hotel looks like 3 stars, but the reported shortcomings make it about 2 stars, the flow of food and food preparation, the cleanliness of the rooms and the restaurant, the repair and insulation of the windows and doors can be improved,||the problems in the bathrooms.||When we left, the boss made sure to repeatedly make sure that he cut our wristbands, lest you stay in a tent and go to the hotel for dinner :).||The departure was with -70 euros for parking, which seems exaggerated to me, especially since there are no cameras or other means of security...

Best value for the money! |The hotel is located right on the beach and it also has a pool, which is nice for kids and for adults, especially when the sea water gets cold or the waves make it difficult to swim. It would be nice if there were at least a couple of showers by the pool, but let's not be nitpicky. :) |It's a 3 star hotel, so don't expect glamour and impeccable service. It's not perfect. But they try, and it counts. :)|The food is very good. Very fresh and sufficiently diverse. (And you will find something to eat even if you arrive just half an hour before closing time...) We liked that there are fruits at every meal (including grapefruit for breakfast) and they actually cook real food (veal, pork stew, various chicken dishes), not just use minced meat variations (like we saw in other places in Bulgaria) . |The staff is friendly and helpful. They speak English (at least at the reception), Russian and German.|The rooms are not so big, but this wasn't an important aspect for us, since we didn't spend much time indoors. All rooms have air-conditioning and a balcony with a clothes drier, where you can hang your bathing stuff out to dry. The maid comes daily and does a decent enough job (could be better, though...)|There is also an animation team both for adults and for kids. It's a nice touch. But keep in mind that Albena is a family resort, so everything shuts down around 11 PM, including the hotel bar. |The beach has enough sunbeds and they are positioned sufficiently apart, so it's not crowded and we never had the issue of not finding a spot. The beach is sandy and very nice.|All in all, we are having a lovely time here and we definitely recommend the location for a budget holiday. |Strong points : location, food|Weak points: The restaurant area could be cleaner. It's OK, but especially with Covid, extra cleaning measures should...

When we made the reservation everywhere it said private beach, well when we arrived front dest tell us thaht the first 2 rows are paid 21 leva. We are with a little boy and it's very important to be front row. Next we were surprised with 20 leva per day for our car and there aren't event parkink spots for the hotel. You pay to park if you find a spot somewhere on the street 🤣 The room is so small that from one side of the bed you can't go out, because of the baby's crib (it's no free space in our room and baby's crib has yo be next to the bed wich is super small 140x190 for 2 people. There is no spase for our luggage. We moved the chair and table on the super small balcony.🤮 It's very dated, very old school. The food is not terrible, but there is lack of options!. I've been to 5 stars hotels for the same price, wich are beyond lux! This hotel is 0 stars for me. Don't go there and waist your money. Even if someone gifts me a vacation in this hotel I...
