The place should be called Misfortuna. On arrival (late February, 2022), there was broken glass on the floor outside the apartment's entrance door, drained in whatever drink the glass had contained before falling apart, which made it hard to remove. After picking up visible pieces manually, we called maintenance to have the floor cleaned asap, and assumed that would happen asap or at least once we were outside in the evening or the next day. It didn't; we found glass inside the apartment several days after arrival => don't bring children, at least not without slippers. After this welcome greeting, the apartment continued to deliver: defunct light-bulbs in the kitchen, on the balcony and in the bedside lamps, tv out of order (the janitor fixed it somehow; turned out to contain only Bulgarian tv), loose sink faucet, missing toilet paper holders (in both bathrooms; one of them was in a kitchen cabinet; the janitor got us one (1) new one, which fell down on day 2). One bathroom mirror was held up by scotch tape. Numerous hooks in the bathroom and in the entrance hall were missing/broken. The shower water could not be adjusted to an even temperature; it oscillated between hot and cold (that is, after we had the janitor repairing the boiler late in the evening of day one – there was no hot water on arrival). Further: the kitchen drawer with tools contained a dull knife, some almost flat spoons, four table knives of the cheapest kind (flat, thin steel), forks of varying sizes and some broken wooden gear (the janitor went out and bought three wooden tools, thanks) along with a broken cork-screw. Besides, there was no trashcan in the kitchen (thanks for buying this as well, Mr and Mrs janitor). The toaster and kettle both used a socket next to the stove => be careful when cooking and using either of these on the same time. The swimming pool, which was one of the main reasons for us selecting the place, turned out to be empty and not in use due to corona – as per a decision _after_ our booking, without anyone telling us about it after the reservation. Music from the street-level restaurant complicated sleeping, as did the fact that sheets barely covered the bed. Further, only one of the two bedrooms had bedside lamps. On the positive note, the place is just a few minute's walk from the gondola and it has a supermarket on the other side of the street and a food take-away next door. Also, the impression of the house, the corridor etc is clean and well-kept – not dilapidated.

For the price the fortuna apartments are probably the best in bansko. Right in the centre of town. Anything you need in your stay is within a minutes walk: the gondola, ski shops, bars, restaurants, shops, take-aways. For being so central they are quiet inside. Very warm, comfortable. A bit outdated but is perfectly okay for your stay. Comes with a balcony too, and access to a pool and gym if you’re that keen. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean place.Good for people who like hiking in the summer and even better for those who like skiing. This apartment will offer you a nice view + 100m walk distance from the cabin lift.It has a underground parking and is in the most attractive street in winter,it has SPA and GYM as well!

Better do not go there. They are deceiver. We were a group of 10 persons and searched for a accommodation for ALL of us. They told us that we will get a whole accommodation for all of us what we got were two Appartements on two different ( Etage 2 and the other Etage 5) levels with one Appartement for four and one apartment for 6 persons, also we didn’t have the promised four bedrooms, instead one couple had to sleep on a really really bad sofa from which they got back pain and had horrible nights. The other double bed was a 1.20m bad were never two of us could fit in. One had to sleep on a sofa because they didn’t fit in one bad. By the way with only one small blanket. In the discription was also written that we will have 5 badrooms, we only had 2 badrooms for 10 people. We didn’t have warm water for all of us, half of the group could not shower because it was just to cold. The swimming pool was also disgusting. Cold water and with really dirty water ! I was looking forward for the trip but this was only disappointing. Better don’t go there! They...

Location is great for skiing, eating and clubbing. However, the flat itself felt extremely unclean. The cupboard was full of dirty dishes, the bathroom didn't look clean (there was a particularly grim looking drain on the floor) and smelled really bad the whole time, the duvets also had stains on them, the bin was so small it was full the first day (and we were told we had to buy our own bin bags for some reason). The whole place felt very old and run down, with large cracks in several walls, which didn't help on the overall atmosphere. Would not stay...
