Extremely Disappointed – One of the Worst Hilton Experiences Worldwide
As someone who travels extensively and regularly stays in hotels around the world — Hilton properties included — I felt compelled to leave this review due to how utterly disappointing my experience has been at Hilton Plovdiv. This hotel is a complete letdown and absolutely not up to Hilton standards. Frankly, it’s one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had anywhere.
Where do I begin?
No Duty Manager on Weekends — Seriously? To my shock, I was told there is no duty manager available over the weekend. If something doesn’t work in your room (which it didn’t in mine), you’re basically told to wait until Monday. I’m here for three nights. What am I supposed to do in the meantime? That’s not just poor — it’s unacceptable.
Zero Hospitality at Check-In Upon arrival, I wasn’t told where breakfast was served, what time it starts, or even offered the Wi-Fi code. No welcome, no orientation, no basic information. It’s as if you’re an inconvenience just for showing up.
No Concierge or Luggage Service We arrived early and left our bags in the luggage room. Upon return, the receptionist simply opened the door and said, “Take your bags.” No name checks. No security measures. No help. No one to carry anything. Not even the most basic courtesy of offering assistance.
Poor In-Room Dining & Service We looked at the restaurant menu and were so underwhelmed that we opted to order from a local takeaway instead — which turned out to be the right decision, sadly. Room service from the hotel was simply not an option, either in quality or appeal.
Overall Vibe: Cold, Inattentive, and Subpar The staff are disengaged and lack basic hospitality training. There is no warmth, no attentiveness, and certainly no sense of service that reflects the Hilton name.

Read moreI had reservation on 09..09.2023-10.09.2023 (1 night - 4 rooms) After a long motorcycle ride we arrived hotel and started checkin documentation. We decided to pay all rooms separately. After paying 2 rooms, i calculated the total amount and saw that they charged more than they should.
Staff told us that there is an error over their computer app an they would calculate amounts again.
By that time i told that we want to park our motorcycles indoor and change our clothes during their calculation.
After all group members entered their rooms, another staff told them that they have to leave their rooms, they have to go to lobby again in order to change rooms. they changed the rooms with worse than previous.
During shower, i realized that hair conditioner was empty.
After shower, i wanted to use hair dryer, but there was no hairdryer at restroom. Then, I found a hairdryer inside wardrobe but i couldnt use it at restroom, because there were no power points to plug at restroom.
As a compliment they offerd us free breakfast. ( I showed that we already make reservation including breakfast )
when we try to get out of indoor parking area, door was closed. there was a sign saying " park your car in front of door as shown and door will be opened". whatever we there were no response. there were no call buttons or anything to activate door. So one of our friend again had to walk to lobby in order to tell the problem.

Read moreTOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT MEET HILTON STANDARDS! I initially booked for 1 night, however during the check-in I informed the front desk I will be staying for 2 nights. On the next day, I left the hotel during the day to return in the evening for my second night. Half of my personal belongings were not in the room. When I contacted the front desk they seemed confused and didn't know what happened. While in reality they were very well aware that they made a mistake and the cleaning ladies thought I checked out and "forgot" all my luggage. They threw away some of my personal belongs instead of putting them in lost and found and after realizing the mistake, put some of my things back, and left some of my belongings in the lost and found. The hotel did not compensate me. I had to ask them several times to get me a new tooth pate (as this was one of the things they threw away). The only was they tried to compensate me for the belongings they threw away was to cover my parking (20 euros) that is not even remotely close to the price of the things they threw away, not to mention my discomfort and...
