Lies on multiple occasions.
Booked Pomme and thought it was such a great concept so we gave them a try. The issues started with lack of honesty when we checked in. Had they stated the issues we would of happily cancelled and found a new place instead of trying to deal with the issues late at night. Booked an air con room arrived and everything was fine. Went on a tour and came back, upon going in our room it was hot and the a/c was not blowing. The a/c is not a unit itself to each room but a small pipe off a central cassette unit in the hallway.
Went and asked staff about it and stated it was on, I had to insist they come and check. They checked and said someone must have turned it off said it's back on. But will take an hour. During that time nothing was flowing and checked the condenser. It wasn't running. Finally they admitted it wasn't working and only offered a fan. Asked for another room but fully booked. Myself and the staff tried to get on to the owner, Jonny but failed to answer or respond to any of us. 2 other guests left for the night as they were in the same situation. Eventually another guest gave up his room with a working air con tube as a solution which we were very thankful for. The bar staff were also trying there best but failure from management wasted our night.
The 2nd issue is the bus they used. The tour lady stated we can book a bus through her at 12 USD a ticket. Asked what company it is which she stated go ho travel. Looked up reviews and there bad but she insisted it would be on time and in good working order. Explained to her that it's her word and Pomme's reputation. So we took her word for it and booked. The bus didn't leave for an hour until it was supposed too and lacked air con. The lady as t the counter was rude and refused to talk or explain. If pomme are promoting such a poor company it reflects on there values, towards there customer. Something is not inline to promote such a bus company. If you have read this far please walk up to Virak (VET) and it's only an extra 1.50 for a world of difference. Learned not to trust the word of the tour organizer at Pomme. They do there own craft beers which were good I'd recommend...

Pomme is one of those places in Battambang that effortlessly becomes part of your weekly routine, and for me and my friends, it truly has. We’ve been coming here almost every Friday for beers, and it’s easy to see why this spot has become such a beloved fixture for both locals and visitors. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day or wanting a lively social hub to meet new people, Pomme delivers the perfect atmosphere.
What really stands out about Pomme is its reputation, almost everyone who passes through Battambang hears about it. It’s one of the most famous places in town to grab a cold beer or a cocktail. On any given night, you’ll find a blend of tourists, expats, and long term travelers chatting at the bar, sharing stories, or starting their night out. staff are consistently friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
One of the biggest draws here is the price of draft beer. It’s cheap, which makes those regular Friday night hangouts feel all the more satisfying. They also offer a decent selection of dinner options, nothing overly fancy, but definitely tasty enough to keep you full while you enjoy your drinks. It’s the kind of place where you can come for a quick beer and end up staying for a full meal without planning to.
Another thing worth noting is the boarding upstairs. Pomme is popular among backpackers and group travelers, and it’s easy to see why. The location is right in town, making it convenient to explore Battambang’s markets, riverside, and nightlife. The accommodation upstairs adds to Pomme’s charm, creating a unique mix of guests who keep the place lively and interesting (Personally never tried, but heard from different people - very positive)
If you’re in Battambang, Pomme is absolutely a “must try” place. Whether for a drink, a meal, or even a few nights’ stay, it captures the easygoing, community driven spirit that makes the town so memorable. It’s no surprise we keep coming back every...

We did the half-day tuktuk tour with Sam and we had a great time. He provided lots of local knowledge but also left me and my girlfriend to enjoy all the attractions for ourselves. The Bamboo Train and Bat Cave were the best parts the craft beer was really good and worth trying while you’re there it’s nice to have a private space for such a low price the room and the facilities were clean all the staff were friendly and helpful
Negatives:
as others have said, it can get a bit stuffy in the rooms. The air con is only on in the evenings and is funnelled in from a main AC system in the hall, each room does not have its own AC unit. It does have a fan though, we had no problems sleeping but it’s good to get up and out of the rooms early (especially if you’re in a couple) our room’s sliding lock was busted, we could lock it from outside but not while we were in the room but it was generally quiet and didn’t feel unsafe so we didn’t mention it as a couple with large backpacks, the storage space was lacking in the double room. There was not much space for our stuff at all and there was only 2 hooks and 1 plug (when the fan was plugged in) light was very dim and felt almost useless once you came back from being outside
Overall though, we enjoyed our stay here in Battambang and would definitely stay here...
