Khmer Delight Restaurant — Restaurant in Battambang

We went to Khmer Delight many times during our month long stay in Battambang. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the service is wonderful. They have cloth napkins and one of the waiters taught me how to fold them the fancy way that they do. I have always wanted to know how to do that. The chairs have soft cushions and are more comfortable than most in Battambang. My favourite dish was eggplant with pork. My husband's favourite was steak with fries and lots of vegetables. They make delicious mango salad and they delivered it to our hotel many times for lunch. I was volunteer teaching with some time off for lunch. I just wanted to relax and cool off at our hotel. Very dimmed inside. Waiters understood decent amount of English & are nice. We arrived about 7pm and the first 3 dishes I ordered were all unavailable. If something like this were to happen in the US, usually the restaurant manager would comp a drink, even a soda or something, but this isn’t the US. The fries were kind of soft. Pad Thai was ok.
