Orchid 101 — Hotel in Kampot

beautiful large house 15 min walk from central kampot - lots of food options nearby and a shop. owners are absolutely lovely - as is Biscuit the neighbourhood dog who entertains the customers with her love! Somehow is cleaner and well trained more than most house dogs? we looked forward to her daily visits more than our tours.

Eugene the owner is a lovely chap with a great sense of humour, we extended our stay because it really felt like home. His beautiful daughter Bella was honestly the highlight; she is the cutest baby I’ve ever seen! We had a right laugh and he organised our transfer to Vietnam, amongst other amazing recommendations.

The rooms were clean and cool - aircon worked great. Beds were super comfortable and it was a quiet road. They have breakfest and coffee also. Overall was a lovely vibe, we really enjoyed our stay. It was an absolute PLEASURE to spend time at this family home/ guesthouse. They have bicycles and bikes for rent for really cheap as-well. If you’re travelling to Kampot, please check this place out! We stayed at the Orchid guesthouse for 3 nights in a standard room with fan for 13$ per night. The room was quite big and clean and had a private bathroom. There was also a TV and wifi in the room. |The guesthouse was easy to find and was located really close to one of the main roads, so you could walk around the city - no problem. The guesthouse also rented scooters if you wanted to drive around or like us go out of the city on your own. The guesthouse also offers various trips that where quite good. We went out in a tuk tuk to see peber farms, rice fields and many other things. |The guesthouse has a restaurant which was fine and not to expensive but since you are that close to the center a few minutes walk give you plenty of dinner options.|The owner was really friendly and helped us book bus tickets when we had to leave.|All in all this was a great place to stay and really cheap for the value. My stay at Guest house Orchid 101 in Kampot, Cambodia was absolutely delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The price was very reasonable and the location was perfect, with easy access to town and all the attractions and restaurants. I especially enjoyed relaxing downstairs in the  front of the Guest House with the lovely plants surrounding the seating area, the coffee was great and the small breakfast menu was well priced and tasty especially the home made bread they use.
