I had high hopes for this hotel from the reviews and pictures, I’m not sure if it’s because I went in the low season things where different or things have just changed since pictures where taken. To start we were offered an airport pick up with our name on it (hotel confirmed they would be there) only to wait 10 min with no one showing. Arrived at the front desk checked in and did not receive the welcome drink stated on our check in slip. I didn’t want to ask as I didn’t want to start off on a bad foot on this trip. Arranged two trips with the hotel and our driver was perfect! He was friendly and on time, would recommend mr. Thol. Breakfast menu needs to be reprinted as half the menu items are blacked out with your only option being 3 pieces of toast with 2 eggs (any style) with fried rice with choice of meat in it. On the second morning there were ants in the table side sugar. Woman took the sugar container with the ants and proceeded to pick the ants out gehind the desk and then had the nerve to place it back on our table. Nasty! the floor was already dirty with some dirt when we had checked in, we noticed a sign in the last day they only clean the room if u leave the keys at the front desk. Very odd they dont have an extra key. Bed was soft and had 4 pillows. We had an in room message woman was extremely unprofessional. While it was only $6usd and felt fine. I paid the woman and give her a modest tip and she had the nerve to ask me for more tip. I said no and she left. Not once has anyone ever asked me for more of the tip! Wifi that was also included didn’t work for our entire 2/3 days and we were told each day that someone was coming to fix it. How long does it take to fix the wifi? Read moreThe staff here are the friendliest we have encountered yet! They were always so quick to greet us and talk to us about our day. They also helped arrange a tuk tuk driver for Angkor Wat, who we used for three full days. The driver was excellent and so friendly. There were always drivers at the hotel, ready to take you wherever you wanted to go at decent prices.
The room was large and nice, although it could use a deep cleaning. The walls were a little dirty, as was the bathroom. And there was no soap. The level of cleanliness is standard for southeast Asia though.
The restaurant was cheap and service was great. The food was good, nothing special. The pool was nice but it's right at the front of the hotel and the privacy isn't the best.
The cleaners did leave our window open and we didn't notice until the evening. We had already been in and out of the room a few times, and being on the first floor, we were really surprised to find that this happened. The windows are blocked though so no one could have gotten in. Also the wifi does not work well at all on the first floor room we were in, but it was fine in the lobby.

Nonostante questa cosa non ci sembrasse realistica nè tantomeno corretta nei nostri confronti, abbiamo comunque accettato, onde evitare di doverci mettere a cercare in piena notte una sistemazione, di pernottare per quella sera in un hotel "partner" da loro indicatoci, situato a meno di 1 km. La notte in questa sistemazione é stata terribile: bagno in pessime condizioni e muri divisori inesistenti, vi era solo una sottilissima parete di legno tanto che sembrava che i nostri vicini di stanza fossero nostri coinquilini, li sentivamo tossire e parlare nitidamente. ||Il giorno seguente siamo stati finalmente trasferiti all'albergo che avevamo prenotato: qui la stanza era accogliente e pulita.||La colazione a buffet non eccezionale ma comunque abbastanza variegata sia nel dolce che nel salato.||Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti presso questo hotel e ogni mattina a colazione abbiamo visto con i nostri occhi i ragazzi del personale dire a perlomeno 3 coppie di nuovi ospiti, usando scuse ogni volta differenti, che avrebbero dovuto soggiornare una notte presso quell'altro hotel.||Questo atteggiamento non è affatto professionale e dimostra che viene utilizzato l'overbooking per non perdere clienti se per una notte l'hotel é pieno lucrando sui clienti.||Inoltre ci avevano detto che per farsi perdonare ci avrebbero regalato un massaggio che nn c'è mai stato.||Complessivamente una struttura con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, una buona posizione e servizi discreti.
