I was not really impressed by this place.
Let's start with the good part of it. The service is really good; it's a real team, everybody working towards giving their patrons the best fun-dinner experience.
Food is a 3 stars... Almost tastes good; it's fresh but it lacks the condiments and taste of other hibachi/teppan restaurants I've been to. Steak, seafood, and chicken were OK, vegetables and salad was fresh, the miso soup was a 6/10 and had too much burnt veggies... I was hesitating on asking the chef to add more spices (pepper and garlic), but the grill was so hot that the food was being burnt very rapidly, and after all, I like eating out to have someone cook for me; why would I try to change the cheff's taste by giving instructions on how I like my food, right?
The rice was awful... overcooked, mushy and the taste was being provided by the burnt sauces (soya and ???) that had been added during the cooking process.
The place is outdated, seems more older than "traditional"; although, tries to provide an atmosphere to give the traditional experience to the patrons. It becomes a too "dark" experience and some light would be nice... made me think if their objective is to hide the dirtiness of the place.
One thing that really disgusted me was when the cheff left our table... his cleaning off the cooking grill was incomplete and I was able to see all the stains and leftovers on the grill. Of course I kept my mouth shut because I know how my wife would have reacted by me telling her about it.
And lastly, $200 for a dinner for 3, while eating food that could have been matched by any place in a mall's foodcourt, seems just waaaay...

First when walking in you get hit with a pungent moldy odour from the dingy dirty outdated carpets that rest on the heavily slanted floors.
The overpriced alcoholic beverages were tasted like stale and contained very little alcohol if any. The bartending definitely lacks to say the least.
The soup entree was basically bland flavourless water with two slices of shallots floating around aimlessly.
Upon ordering I expressed my seafood allergy.
He then commenced cooking, did a six second fire show which was a total letdown.I was expecting more of a show like the preform at other restaurants like Beni hana.
They started but serving barely Cooked vegetables and bland rice.
They then handed me bowls of sauce that contained seafood dispute the warning ⚠️
They mixed up everyone’s order at the table. My husband paid extra for filet mignon and was served regular steak.
As another customer sat devouring his order.
I had ordered teriyaki chicken and instead was given chicken with soya sauce.
The waitress then spilled hot tea all over my husband. Not only did she not care to ask if he was ok, but didn’t even replace the tea she spilled all over him.
The same waitress then grazed my friends face with a lit sparkler.
After paying $120+ for the worst meal experience of my life, We stopped to grab a quick meal on the way home.
I could have gotten better service and quality from Tiki Ming ( Mall Food...
Read moreThe service was amazing and fast and the workers were extremely nice also but the food just tasted bland and it was missing flavours , especially the chicken I paid 30$ for 2 small pieces of chicken breast barely even seasoned. I had to tell the chef please add ginger or something in there. He couldn’t even do any tricks like they are supposed to. I don’t think the chef likes his job because he was saying random things and just repeating himself over and over , he made the food extremely quick. Didn’t even do any egg tricks or even put eggs in the fried rice. The lobster , shrimps and scallops all tasted the same. The food was just terrible to be honest I spent about 200$ for 2 people and I think a trio from McDonald’s would’ve honestly tasted better ...it might be just the chef I had was terrible...
