The room was mostly nice. We had a Queen Loft for 2 nights with 5 people. The room is designed to accommodate 6 comfortably, BUT there were towels for 4, 2 glasses, 2 mugs, a TINY fridge, and no microwave. And nowhere to hang towels after showering. There was no guide or directory for hotel amenities in the room. Finding that info online was frustrating and unsuccessful. We were given vague directions to the room, and walked in circles like a maze trying to find the elevator we were told to use. The stairs to the loft bedroom creaked and groaned like a constipated old man, and even the 80lb kid thought the stairs would collapse under her. The pool was a nice temperature, but... murky? Like it hadn't been chlorine tested for a while. Hot tub was as expected, with some nice strong jets. The ladder at the pool's deep end is not long enough to exit safely if you're taller than 3 ft. 3 slippery rungs (one under water, one at water level, one out of water) that didn't extend very far into the water led to me losing purchase, spraining my ankle, bruising the entire length of my shin, and wrenching my knee. Yes, I know it's a "use at your own risk" thing, I'm still frustrated by getting injured using safety equipment. Hey, it says on the website "hot breakfast available", and that means there's a restaurant, not a continental. There are things I DO like about the room, I'm just salty about the things I found disappointing. The loft was cool. I had 4 teen girls overnight with 3 more who visited for a couple hours. The loft amused them far more than I expected. Wifi access was OK, TV was OK but there was no guide available for what input settings did the different things. Beds were OK, bedding was nice, big windows were nice, rolling blinds were great for blocking light until one cord jammed & the blind wouldn't open again. Would I stay there again? Don't know. The price seemed high for what we had access to in a room meant for 6 bodies. Recommend? Also don't know, depends on the needs of the guest. There was no comparable room at Sandman for space. Oh, and housekeeping knocked at 9am the first morning... why? We're there 2 nights, checkout is noon, and they wanted in at 9 the first morning? Am I missing something? I did get additional towels from them, but I still figure there should have been enough to start with. 🤷‍♀️

Save your money, this hotel isn't worth it for its prices. My company booked using expedia or some website anyhow. This has been the worst hotel I've stayed at so far in this region. I travel quite a bit for my business purposes. So I arrived fairly late in the evening to the hotel. Signage for hotel is pretty difficult to see. You can mainly only see if you're going east on Harvey. Secondly, parking isn't the greatest at the front entrance. Did I mention hard to find? When you end up finding the location and park somewhere in a parking lot and thinking you're in the right place you look for an entrance with no naming on the windows or doors. Hard to find? Yup.... I then went in to the front desk (I'm still unsure if I'm in the right place) I ask a seemingly rude attendant to see make sure I'm in some kind of hotel. I ask is this the Ramada hotel? I was then answered..."are you not sure it's Ramada hotel?" At this point I was wanting to leave already. He did the usual check in process and I ask... is there any closer doors to the hotel room? He says no and I find out that there's stairs to the parking lot. So not only unfriendly and unhelpful staff, but makes remarks I'm blind. Quite the great greeting staff. Room.... you get what you pay? Carpets stained all over. I didn't want to even take off my shoes! Fridge broken and smelt bad inside of it. Lights had burned our bulb. How could this be missed if rooms are cleaned regularly? Shower was dark. No microwave, and no hot water kettle for making any hot drinks or to even make instant noodles. Air conditioning unit sounded like a outboard boat engine. I've stayed at another hotel locally and the sound produced is 100x more manageable. Not too sure the Wyndham brand can help this Ramada survive. Especially poor, judgemental, unhelpful staff. Poorly maintained. Luckily only one night and poor sleep. This is worst than a spare bedroom in the basement!

Don’t stay here! Our first stay in early June had a filthy carpet, but because of the location we thought we would give it a second chance. What a mistake!!! Rooms are not clean and front desk staff needs some educating on how to welcome incoming guests. Front desk staff did not acknowledge our arrival. One was helping a customer and the other appeared to be on her computer, but did not even look up nor did she say someone would be with us soon. Which would have been common courtesy. Our room on this stay was not cleaned properly- someone’s hair all over the bathroom floor. Front desk staff us told some would come and clean it up, and report this to this manager. We ended up wiping it up ourselves, but never heard from the manager. Also, the tub was no longer beige but looked like people had taken baths and no one had bothered to clean the scum off the tub. The toilet paper holder was completely rusted - yuk on all items. On a different occasion our room had some sticky substance on the carpet that looked like pop that never got cleaned up. I would totally NOT recommend staying here. Lots of other choices in the area, which we will do next time. We’ll never stay here again.

We thought this hotel was gonna be an awesome stay for my 11-year-old‘s birthday for the weekend that we were from out of town and thought Kelowna would be a good place to share, especially seeing that the kids had their own room, but when we got to the hotel, it was quite deceiving. It was very outdated on the inside our room was Not very bright or welcoming. It was quite darker driving actually with stains on the carpet. Our bathroom fan was so loud. We couldn’t even turn the light on because you couldn’t stand the sound of the of the fan, the beds were so uncomfortable that they dipped in the middle and even the kids complained about sleeping on them we asked at the front desk for extra toilet paper and extra tissue, but the lady at the front desk told us she didn’t have access to them and because we had booked that room specifically for the extra bed for the hide a bed we asked for extra pillows, even in those weren’t provided because they said they didn’t have any of those either while we were there and my kids were using the pool. We brought our service dog along with us. He was actually kicked out of the pool and asked to leave because people at the front desk and management had no idea what service dog entails and kicked him out of the pool even though service dogs are allowed to be on the pool deck just not swimming in the pool with their handler which he was not so I had to leave my daughter unattended without her service dog. Well, I had to go explain to management after they kicked us out what it entails and the rules of having a service dog in a public place like that, and all the management could say was it was my responsibility and if something happened to somebody else, then I had to take full responsibility for my service job without them understanding that I already had known that and that he has a job to do with his Handler who has special needs and cerebral palsy. After explaining this to the people who are working at the front desk, three or four times they finally just said OK OK and I was not upset. I was not mad and I was happy to explain to them what it meant to And why we did and explain to them that they should know the rules and regulations of service Dogs our service dog was also attacked by an unleashed dog in the parking lot outside of the hotel on the backside after my daughter was out walking her dog and my daughter had politely let these people know that her dog wasn’t friendly and this was an awful dog, so that’s another strike for our poor pup who is a great asset to our family I wouldn’t recommend for the price that I paid for that hotel room or it cost me almost $700 to stay there for Friday night Saturday night. It was definitely not worth the price for the headache that we...

Booked through Expedia. When we got to the hotel the lobby seemed okay, as we started walking towards our room there was a disgusting smell. Walked into out room and noticed Cobb webs all over the ceilings, our carpet had stuff on it and the windows had dead flies stuck in between. We complained and were offered another room but the smell was making me sick so I asked for a refund as I have medical conditions and was having trouble breathing. Expedia requested a refund from Ramada but the manager just persisted we changed the room. I advised him that it wasnt about changing the room. The picture of the room was deceiving, the smell was horrible and it lacked hospitality and cleanliness. After speaking with expedia they agreed to give a refund but the Ramada wouldn't budge. Total Rip off of money, we left without getting a refund because the room was so bad I'd rather waste 200 dollars than stay there. Worst customer service from the manager.

Response to the owner,

I don't understand what may be confusing for you . Before you advised me that you would give another room I quoted " I would just like a refund, as the hotel smells disgusting not to be rude." In which you replied "oh I understand, our job is to make sure you are happy." I advised you I still wanted a refund and wasn't going to stay in a hotel that increased my trouble breathing. I advised you the smell wasn't on only one floor it was on all the floors. You said you couldnt get me a refund because I would have to contact Expedia for that.I said perfect thank you for you time because you advised me I had to go through expedia, at no given time did I say I would come pick up my keys. I contacted Expedia, got approval for a refund which you denied after telling me to go through them. You wasted my time by offering the same option over and over again. I advised I was going to call expedia and try to get a refund, in which you did not deny. Nit picking certain things out of a conversation and ignoring the rest is bad customer service. Do not advise someone they can get a refund through where the booked, if you are going to refuse it. I went to reception and was asked if I was there for a key. I advised him the smell was bothering me and he did not disagree with the smell. He said "I totally understand that". I'm quite surprised actually, you have multiple negative reviews on the smell and cleanliness yet chose to do nothing about it. The fact that I'm willing to lose 200 dollars than stay there says a lot. I checked out right when I got back, did not step inside the room for more than 10 minutes as I was on call with expedia for an hour outside of the hotel at a...
