The food was pretty good. You can count on the White Spot burgers always being the same. The fries were a little cold, but still good. The server was terrible, and rude to us, though she was nice to the tables around us. The other tables were made up of families with kids (like us), and older couples, but they all got treated much better than us. We were just sitting at our table, colouring and talking to each other, behaving like perfectly normal human beings, yet getting treated like we were the worst customers ever. The server interrupted my 7yo, B, as she was trying to order for herself, and commented that 'kids are so picky these days' when B asked for a very basic, minimal change in the order. (nothing even close to the changes a lot of adults make at restaurants). When she came back with our drinks, she put the drink down in front of B and said 'don't spill it' in a snarky voice, which was completely uncalled for. B asked me why the lady was being so mean to her, so I told her that maybe the server was having a bad day or was in a bad mood. The server didn't say anything when she brought the food to the table, and didn't check on us once. There were other tables right beside us that she would stop and chat with, but she ignored us. I had to flag her down to ask for the bill. I paid with cash and asked for a 10 back. She said 'okay', then walked away with the cash. I assumed it was to get change, but after waiting for over 10 minutes, I had to ask the hostess to find her to get my change. When the server came back she gave me a dirty look and said that she didn't know I needed change. It was a terrible service experience for me, but it was even worse because the server was directing a lot of her bad attitude towards a well-behaved, polite child that should never be treated like this, especially...

I wish I could give this 2 1/2 stars. I don't think the 3 is justified. The food was good but the service and waitress we had was inexperienced and she was quite rude as well. We came as a group of 11 and arrived at 7:15. We were all aware the restaurant was closing at 9pm...but our group felt quite rushed.

The waitress specifically went around the table seat by seat to grab our orders. She said she did it the way she did incase of bill splitting.. Makes sense right? Well somehow, it still confused her when it came to split the bill.

The food is good and consistent and the bottomless fries are good and fresh. Burger with the triple O sauce never dissapoints. I always add the western plate (casear salad & onion rings). Again, nothing wrong with the food.

My aunt ordered that blueberry special, which comes with the burger, salad and blueberry tart dessert but the waitress screwed up the order and so they remade the burger (had cheese when not supposed to have cheese) but it took quite a while to get the new burher. Waitress also forgot her dessert as we had to remind her.

As for my mother, waitress gave the wrong pricing and overcharged for the soup. When we confronted the waitress, she was defensive and rude and essentially just wanted to get rid of our table. She just reduced the price but never apologized.

I honestly don't know if it a Kelowna thing but I think the early close of 9pm just brings down the service level for tables who come in at 7-7:15 for a 9pm close. In the lower mainland, I think and know some white spots don't close until 11pm..I think by increasing the hours, may put less pressure on staff to close and increase service levels.

Dissapointed with this visit....

We went for a family dinner, on a Wednesday. We were a large group, but we had called ahead the day before and made a reservation for 6pm. When we arrived there was no table for us. They offered us three booths, which defeats the purpose of a family dinner. We moved a table ourselves and attached it to a booth for the adults and put the kids in another booth. Our waitress was Ginger. She was extremely slow with taking orders, and bringing things out. It took almost half an hour for drinks alone. She finally took our food orders, and it took almost another hour to get the food. When our meals were finished, she did not offer desserts at all to the adult group, only the kids booth. She told us she was going to get the bills figured out, and asked which people were together. She took another hour to get the bills figured out. It was absolutely brutal. She was completely incapable of figuring out who was together, and what they ordered. We wrote down the orders on a napkin for her, and she refused to take them. We offered to help at the computer and she refused that help too. We asked for a manager. When she came out, she brought a machine as if we had bills to pay and that was all, yet we hadn't even gotten bills yet. By the time we were finished, it was 9:25pm, and the restaurant had closed at 9pm. The doors were literally locked. Other patrons mentioned that they also didn't have their bills or orders correct tonight either. Overall, if I could give this waitress negative stars, I would. This was an...

My review is based upon the love and experience of visiting multiple other white spot locations throughout the lower mainland interior and Alberta. After no less than three attempts I've trying this location, I can only give a honest rating of 1 star. Our dining experiences have fallen short on quality of service and execution of food. Most recently we attempted the Thanksgiving dinner, dine out option and the outcome was far from the standards expected of white spot or what was advertised: mashed potatoes were in fact just diced potatoes, stuffing was pure mush like baby food, the carrots were not cooked, the apple filling in the pie was not fully cooked (too firm), the gravy did not taste good and it looked like we were short changed with Turkey. Honestly I was comparing the meal to meals you would have at the hospital. If you come with the expectation of what you've probably had at other white spots, you'll be very disappointed.

I love White Spot and supporting Pirate Pak day, but this is not the location to go to. Was told order would be 45 minutes. Ended up waiting about 80 minutes and having to rush home for prior plans after I finally got my food. Then I excitedly tore open my bacon cheddar burger to discover it didn’t have any lettuce, tomato, or onion. Like, come on guys. If you’re going to make people wait that long, you better make sure that the food is made right. Still a decent burger I suppose, but very disappointing, especially when my friend’s legendary burger (which cost $2 less) came with all said trappings. I recommend the Penticton location. They handled the Pirate Pak promotion magnificently last year when I visited and they seemed just as busy as the Kelowna location... TL;DR: food was still tasty as is, but sorely disappointing experience overall and won’t visit this location again.

Came for lunch. Had the Charred Tomato & Spinach Benedict (filling and a very juicy tomato, one bite and the juice squirted all over) and the $20 BC Summer Bundle (Legendary burger, Caesar salad, blueberry pie). Good value for the price. The Legendary burger doesn't come with lettuce and tomato by default, but it can be included free upon a diner's request. We did feel shorted with the fresh blueberry pie. While it was tasty, the blueberries in our pie shell didn't come close to what's depicted in their advertising (online and in-restaurant). It looked a little sad. Service was attentive and the price point is fair. Have been to many White Spot locations, and would recommend the chain as a whole.
