Absolutely BRUTAL!! probably the worst restaurant experience i have had. I am not usually one to complain but this was so bad i feel it needs to be said. Arrived for an earlier dinner before the rush as we had a theater performance to attend and didn't want to be pressed for time. Advised server that we did not have a long timeline and would be a quick table. Ordered Drinks and food. Drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. Kids ordered something quick and easy and Husband and i ordered salads since they are quick, or so you would think. After a half an hours kids food finally came out. One of their meals ( plain pasta )was ice cold. She didn't say anything so i let it go. After another 20 minutes our server has not been by and we still did not have our salads. I was finally able to waive her down and let her know that we were still waiting and tables that arrived thirty minutes after we ordered were eating. She said she would go check on our meals. At this time i also asked if she could bring the bill so we could pay as we were going to have to eat and run. Big Mistake. Paid for our meals and never saw our server again. Still no salads. Eventually someone from the kitchen came out and put a salad in front of me.... was not what i had ordered and was obviously meant for someone else so i refused it and still no meal came for my husband. Kids were finished eating now, a manager came to the table and apologized and said this was not right. Told my husband she was going to get him a gift card. When she came back she said that the salads were ready and did we still want them. husbands reply " of course , we paid for them. Managers reply " oh ya, i guess hey". Manager never came back. This restaurant hires a lot of Houdini's. 10 minutes later, husband and kids are now in the vehicle waiting for me while i stood there in my jacket waiting for the salads that were ready to go....they were not. New owner of the restaurant came by now apologizing for the experience. Offered me a free desert?!? Not sure why since i was dressed and ready to go to a theater performance on an empty stomach still waiting for my meals. I declined and said i just wanted our meals. When he finally came back he had our meals packed to go and said he put two deserts in there as well. Not sure why. I declined them and no one is going to eat them and they will go to waste. Free deserts are in no way going to make this experience better !?!?. He said he was going to comp our meal, they were working on it now and apologized again as i rushed out the door. Our meal has not been comped and the gift card the manager gave us will not even come close to covering the cost of the two salads she expected us to leave without. I will be giving giving the gift card away since we will not be going back but i feel as that would be cruel as i don't wish this type of dining experience on...

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Milestone Restaurant located at Orchard Plaza, and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The combination of great drinks, appetizing dishes, and exceptional service made for a memorable evening.
Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The restaurant's interior exudes a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The warm lighting and well-appointed decor create a comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for both casual and special occasions. However, my initial experience was slightly dampened by the absence of a host at the entrance upon our arrival, which required us to take the initiative to notify the staff of our presence.
Drinks: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We began our evening with the vibrant Blue Margarita, a visually stunning and refreshing drink that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The presentation and flavor were both exceptional, and it was evident that care had been taken in crafting the cocktails.
Appetizers: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The dining experience continued to impress with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, a creamy and indulgent starter that was a perfect match for our drinks. The Roasted Beet & Goat Cheese Salad was a symphony of flavors and textures, showcasing the kitchen's dedication to using fresh ingredients.
Main Courses: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For the main course, the Top Sirloin and Chicken Fingers were standouts. The Top Sirloin was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a mouthwatering char on the outside. The Chicken Fingers, a favorite of my daughter's, were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, meeting the standards of even the most discerning young palates.
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The service at Milestone Restaurant truly shone throughout the evening. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and demonstrated genuine warmth that added to the overall positive experience. Her expertise in recommending dishes and her friendly demeanor were highlights of the evening.
Improvement Area: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
While the experience was overwhelmingly positive, the lack of a host at the entrance upon our arrival was a minor inconvenience that initially caught us off guard. Having to walk to the kitchen to inform the staff of our presence was an unexpected start to an otherwise smooth evening.
Final Thoughts:
Milestone Restaurant at Orchard Plaza offers a truly delightful dining experience with its delicious food, creative cocktails, and excellent service. The minor hiccup at the beginning did not overshadow the overall enjoyment of the evening. I highly recommend Milestone Restaurant for anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey in a welcoming and...
Read moreWhere do I begin? It is amazing to me that this location still is permitted to call themselves a Milestones. We moved here from Vancouver and this is not the first unsatisfactory visit to this Milestones, but it will definitely be our last. As I say it is amazing that they are able to call themselves a Milestones, because other locations we have been to have always been a go-to spot for us due to the impeccable service and the amazing drinks and food. This location however is far far lacking in all areas. We went for brunch and the choice of toast was brown or white? I was confused and thought perhaps I was in a roadside diner outside of spuzzum. The waitress in a very rude way told us that she did not work in the kitchen and was not responsible for food because she was a server. We arrived for brunch at 11:30 and proceeded to order. 40 minutes later we were informed that they no longer had breakfast hash browns so we had to choose between mashed potatoes or gravy for our bacon and egg breakfast?? This is a establishment that is supposed to be on the same level as cactus club, or moxie's, or earls, and 40 minutes into their brunch they have ran out of potatoes for hash browns? After arriving at 11:30 it is now 1:00 and our breakfast has still not arrived. When breakfast finally arrived it was cold?? When one of the girls at the table mentioned it to the waitress she apologized and said she would tell the kitchen because we were the second table that had mentioned their breakfast arrived cold. After breakfast we tried to order a light beer and this particular Milestones does not carry any light beer whatsoever such as Bud light. To top it all off one of the ladies that was in our party received a gift certificate from her work at Christmas time. It was a gift certificate that was good at several different restaurants and the logo of all of the restaurants that were supposed to honor this gift certificate were listed at the bottom of the certificate. This particular milestones would not honor this certificate and said they stopped honoring those in September, even though it was an actual gift certificate to their establishment. If you are choosing to go out for brunch or lunch or dinner, do yourself a huge favor and pick ANY other restaurant in Kelowna rather than this one. To top it all off a cold plate of eggs Benedict, cold bacon and eggs, that took over an hour to get there, along with two mimosas and two virgin Caesars came to $72. This is completely unacceptable and they should be ashamed...
