Dewars Montague Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Montague

We stayed three nights in the upstairs suite at Dewars in May 2018. The B&B suite forms part of hosts Brenda and Edgar's comfortable and tasteful house which is set in a large and very well tended garden. The upstairs suite is light and spacious with two separate bedrooms and a nicely appointed bathroom. The whole place is immaculately clean. Our bedroom had a wonderful view into the rear garden which was just bursting into Springtime.||Brenda and Edgar are wonderful hosts in the old tradition of B&B accommodation. For people who have being hosting guests for many years they still maintain a great enthusiasm and interest in meeting new people. I arrived in PEI with no plan except to spend my first night at Dewar’s Bed & Breakfast but in the end I spent three, and I'm so glad I did! This cozy B&B proved to be the perfect jump off spot to take full advantage of the Points East Coastal Drive. Brenda and Edgar(Ed) are exceptional hosts. They’ve travelled the world and certainly know how to make you feel welcome. The rooms are bright and cheery, the grounds are peaceful and inviting, and Brenda is an amazing home cook. After one of her breakfasts, a cup of seafood chowder is all you need to tide you over until dinner. Perfect place to stay in Montague in a beautiful setting close to centre of town. Edgar and Brenda were wonderful host. They have a great garden which you can enjoy the view from your bedroom window. Beautiful bedroom with all the amenities and whatever you ask for. Also they have a two bedroom upstairs that I viewed. Fantastic breakfast which looked to good to eat. Mr Dewar directed us to a repair shop that helped us with a cracked windsheild on our first day in PEI which saved us hundreds of dollars.
