Le petit château Montebello — Hotel in Montebello

I wasn't very confident when I first booked this B & B because I couldn't find many reviews about it. But we wanted to visit Park Omega which is a five minute drive away and figured staying at Montebello would be a good location for the night, so I booked it with some hesitation.||||But when we got there, the owner, Edwin, a retired engineer, was very lovely. He can speak both English and French. The house is located opposite the tourist information. It is very pretty, big with plenty of rooms (four rooms on the second floor, plus the third floor). Edmond upgraded one of our rooms to an on-suite. Since no other guests booked the same night, we had the whole second floor for ourselves. We went to a Vietnamese restaurant nearby for dinner and walked around this charming little town afterward.||||The next day Edwin prepared breakfast for us, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, toast, juice, bananas, tea and coffee. We were lucky enough to be able to stay at this lovely place for one night. It's away from all the trouble of a big city like Quebec but still very close! The hosts are extremely helpful. They had the baby crib already set up when we arrived and the A/C was on so it wouldn't be too hot for sleeping. The breakfast was BREATHTAKING and we all felt very welcomed. We would absolutely recommand Le Petit Chateau! Thank you very much for the wonderful time we had! And the pics really don't do this unique place justice. A quaint and lovely house located near shops and restaurants in Montebello.|The host was extremely helpful and the breakfast was great.|Edmund takes pride on his property and it shows.
