Cute, quirky, and with a massive grounds to walk around, this B&B was our first return to NotL after a Covid Hiatus, and it did not disappoint.
Our hosts (Joyce and Doug) were both lovely as can be and they made our stay as comfortable as they could. Between the very clear instructions and brief tour of the establishment we quickly felt at home.
The pool was indoor and at a nice temperature (84-85F) and walking around the gardens (while Doug cracked a joke or two) was a nice way to enjoy a glass of our recently purchased wines.
The Turret Room was where we stayed (see pics) and it was almost like an Escher inspired bedroom with all of the off-angles and multi-level components. I would assume that some patrons would find the "room" confusing, however, some would love it, and I found myself in the latter. I wouldn't recommend this room for anyone over 6ft tall as you would likely bump your head multiple times on the angled ceilings, however, for anyone else shorter, and who may love a cozy nook to read or to chat and relax, this place screams of the type of room that would find itself in some sort of magical film.
The king bed was large, slightly more firm than I was expecting (appreciated), and very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and well lit.
Overall, I would...
Read moreThis truly is a little piece of heaven, and by far one of our most favourite places to stay. It’s a short 7-10 minutes into town, and a quick 5 minute drive to St. David’s with the best fish and chips at the Grist. The bed and breakfast is spacious, clean, and well loved and maintained. This is our third stay-we’ve booked the river view suite which has a king beg and fireplace and with beautiful brick. This stay we booked the Turett Suite and we had the whole floor, with a nice sitting area and extra space with a pull out of there is an extra person. Joyce and Doug are wonderful hosts, who always ensure your stay is good, recommend places to go and offer a beautiful breakfast second to none. We’ve stayed at other bed and breakfast places and the Everheart blows them all out of the water! Why you ask? Attention to detail, a well maintained area with beautiful landscaping they do on their own, an indoor pool opened from may-late September, beautiful cozy rooms and charm throughout that makes you feel like you are at a true bed and breakfast, wonderful food and warmth and care by the owners. We also enjoy meeting other guests from the USA who come over and local people. It’s got such a warm feeling to it, you won’t find a better place. We look forward to booking...
Read moreVisited with my wife for a couple night stay for a mid week getaway. Overall Everheart had everything we look for in a B&B. Joyce and her husband were excellent hosts. Very attentive to our needs. They gave us the privacy we wanted but were also there if we needed them. Great hosts!||Breakfast was excellent. Selecting from an individual menu the day before was a very nice touch. Eating on the huge porch overlooking the beautiful gardens was just spectacular!||The property was beautiful. We had one of the king rooms. It was very spacious, meticulously clean and very private. Comfortable bed. The private bathroom was also very spacious.||The home has an indoor swimming pool which we quite enjoyed during our first night there. The property is about 10km outside of the main strip of NOTL, just a short, scenic drive down the parkway. It was nice to be away from the noise of town yet still very close. ||Would highly recommend Everheart when looking for accommodations in NOTL. We look forward to...
