I recently stayed at this motel this weekend and loved my time here. Honestly this place doesn’t even feel like a motel, but more like an airbnb. Its situated in a beautiful quiet area in Niagara on the Lake, and is next door to some beautiful spots. The South Landing building is beautiful on the inside, and my room was so cute!! Due to me being an Expedia VIP member, it even came with a free bottle of Niagara red wine. The fridge is fully stocked with Canadian beverages (that you have to pay for but its worth it!). They make sure to have quality products that are environmentally safe & responsible.
They have a lounge underneath that serves honestly the best breakfast that changes everyday. I had a goat cheese quiche one day and it was so delicious. The food is honestly really yummy and freshly baked.
They even have bikes nearby on the lot that you can rent if you want to have some active fun. The attention to detail this place has, is honestly amazing and shows they really care about giving the best experience.
Now the staff, were nothing short of amazing too! They were all so sweet and friendly and very accommodating.
It was such a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. I had the best time and felt so comfortable at this place. I will definitely be back! I cant say enough nice things. Thanks for having me...
Read moreThe Kent Motel is a warm and wonderful place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and peaceful. Upon our arrival we met an amazing host, Olivia who was so kind and answered all of our many questions. Once we entered room 209, we found a very clean room with nice quality towels (well stocked). The room had many places to store clothing and things.|The bathroom was all white and extremely clean. I was excited to discover two nice robes awaiting us. The Motel was thoughtful to include a black face towel for those of us who wear make-up. (thanks!). |The Motel is not far from the Falls and the town Niagara on the Lake. |The Motel offers pastries and drinks for a fee and recycling containers are at the Motel. Good job Kent!|We met Isaac who was also very friendly.|If we could suggest somethings for future improvements:|1. Consider a ramp for persons with disabilities or add an elevator.|2. Maybe add a sofa in the living space instead of the two chairs.|3. Check the small fridge for the extremely loud noise.|We would stay again if the opportunity presents itself. The entire stay was enjoyable in such a serene and...
Read moreWe have stayed a lot of places, and a lot of motels in a lot of countries I might add, but the Kent, out in a residential area intrigued me enough to drive over there and ask about a stay directly. The manager was terrific, showing us a couple of rooms so that we could select the coziest. All seem to be done in 1960s.’chic’. Rooms were fairly quiet despite a large group of cyclists that we’re staying the same night. While the little café down below was not open on a weeknight, we were free to go down and source, hot water for tea, mugs, wine, glasses, etc. Our stay was so pleasant that we decided to up our game $$$ and stay at their sister property South Landing (see separate review). For the price I would say that I actually like the Kent for future stays. The area around the motel is great for walking. Wineries are very close. It has such a different feeling from downtown Niagara on the lake, less touristy, more outdoorsy. Just love what they’ve done with this place when one looks at similar era motels That are eyesores and abominations in their...
