Noisy room - there is a very loud and noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom that starts and stops independent of any action. Sometimes in the middle of the night.||Employees - the worst part, they are not prepared to deal with people at all. One problem was paying with card: twenty minutes discussing and even showing them the bill of the last hotel in Santiago to prove it was possible to do the way we wanted we had no success. My friend was very upset (it was a business trip). ||Second problem was during the dinner: I waited 40 minutes for my dish and when questioning the waiter he said they didn't have that dish. And they wouldn't tell me if I hadn't ask!||Bad location: to access the hotel you have to do four different returns on the roads, only local people know how to arrive there. And there is nothing around the hotel, only the road. Not friendly for walk, no store. You must have a car to do anything but then...how to reach there driving?!||Expensive: interesting we payed higher price than the hotel in Santiago very well located in Las Condes reagion (most expensive reagion...
Read moreThe hotel clerk told us flat out, don't go out for a walk after about 10 at night. It's very dangerous around here, he said. Good advice. There's nothing around except darkened streets, darker buildings and a handful of grimy, ill-lit restaurants. We strolled for about a block and headed back. Why would anyone put up a hotel at this location .... Surrounded by empty lots, used car dealerships construction sites, run-down apt buildings and millions of dogs howling, non-stop.||Don't expect much English from the staff, although most seemed pleasant.||Service in the restaurant was very slow, took 20 minutes to get a Coke ... And I was virtually the only person there.||They said there was laundry service on Sunday ... There isn't. ||The desk told me the wifi password, but didn't tell me the log on name, as if I didn't need to know that. Wifi is hopelessly slow BTY.||Hotel was clean enough to but it had a lonely neglected mid 60s feel to it.||Quite...
Read moreWe stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday in January. The hotel was modern and comfortable. Because our room was not ready we were upgraded to a suite. Luxurious marble bathroom, welcoming entry hall with a wall of windows and large bedroom with 2 queen sized beds. The views were good, looking west over the river. ||||The breakfast buffet was excellent, only lacking in pancakes and sausages... hint, hint. The restaurant was very over-priced, a bowl of chicken soup was 2,900. ||||The metal switch in the shower stall fell out when I tried to switch from bath to shower. I was too tired to ask management to fix it. My shower had two water spouts, one from the shower head, one from the switch. Other than that little glitch, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I would stay...
