Hostal Arkya — Hotel in Puerto Natales

In a city like Puerto Natales where the amont of tourists makes it inevitable that most of the local people working in the tourism business are rarely welcoming and are only concerned about making money out of every tourist, we found finally some nice people at the Arkya Hostel. The owners (a family) are very welcoming, helpful and friendly and they know the region around Puerto Natales. The rooms are honest for the price and confortable and the hostel is only a 10 min walk from the centre. We had a (big tandem) bike and bags which they let us leave in the hostel while we went hiking in el chalten and the paine with no problem. I stayed here for 2 nights. Mysterious bites showed up ALL over my face, neck, shoulders and arms. I went to a doctor. He told me it was bed bugs. These bites resemble photos I saw online and showed up during the morning. So, I'm sure it was the hostel. I told someone who works there and he did NOTHING to help. He merely said the room had been cleaned. However, bed bugs don't go away, even if the rooms are clean. They need to be exterminated. Hoy Sábado 11 de Marzo del 2017 con mi polola llegamos a las 22:45 a la hostal para hacer el ingreso a una habitación doble con baño privado (N°3), nos atendió un joven muy amable, sin ni un problema, la atención inicial bien, pero al momento de ingresar a la habitación me encuentro que había una araña y un gusano por las paredes, la araña puede ser común en una casa pero un gusano encuentro que no, no le di mayor importancia pero al momento de ingresar al baño, en la tina encuentro un jabón abierto y usado además de pelos en ella, por lo cual amablemente le avisé al mismo joven que nos recibió, a lo cual me contesta que va a llamar al encargado para saber cuál sería el procedimiento, finalmente llega el dueño y me dice "¿qué pasó?" le cuento y le muestro lo acontecido y dice "chucha está sucio" y le consulto qué es lo que se puede hacer, a lo cual me responde "bueno son detalles nomas" y le dije que bueno que si los podía sacar y me dice "bueno si no te sientes cómodo te puedes ir" y yo sólo le solicité que si podían limpiar la tina, por lo cual me dice "¿Sabes qué? Mejor ándate" y se va de la habitación a la recepción y yo lo sigo y veo que anula mi pago y le dije de que por qué me trataba así si era su cliente, respondiéndome "Son detalles Hueón, déjate de hinchar", nunca pensé que me iba a tratar así, sólo le pedí que limpiara la ducha, le respondí que cómo me podía decir Hueón siendo que estaba tratando de solucionar el problema, finalmente luego de estar parado frente a él sin que me dijera algo, me dice "Ya, te voy a limpiar la tina".
