For the safety of you and your family, please stay away from this Chinese restaurant. Around 8:30 PM on 02/24/2025, after completing our W trek in Torres del Paine, we came to this Chinese restaurant. After waiting for nearly 40 minutes, we complained about the slow service and attitude, only to be met with insults and verbal abuse. The man, who seemed to be the owner or chef, raised his voice to a level I could never have imagined and aggressively pointed his finger at us—a gesture that was clearly threatening. He told us to get out and said he didn’t care if we called the police or left a bad review. This was the first time during our trip that we felt our personal safety was threatened, so we quickly left this terrifying restaurant. Our otherwise wonderful trip ended on a very disappointing note. I hope no one else has to go through this kind of experience. In short, this man, who appeared to be the owner or chef, seemed unable to handle complaints professionally, reacting with anger instead. If customer service improves, this place could be better, but based on our experience, I cannot...
Read moreAmazing Chinese restaurant in Puerto Natales - such a lovely surprise to find authentic, tasty, home-y cooking in this tiny town. It’s run by two kind Chinese immigrants, so it’s the real deal. The food comes quickly, portions are generous, and they’re open late, so we’d come here often after long day hikes in Torres del Paine. Fried rice is fantastic, as are the chapsui (sautéed veggies with protein). Honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We went four times, and the food was always tasty. I’d recommend ordering a couple plates and sharing family style. Our meal often would come out to around 8-10,000 Chilean pesos pp, so very affordable for this town.
Googlemaps says they close at 10:30pm, but definitely check because we’ve gone at 11pm before and there’d be several tables full of people. Many thanks to the restaurant owners for their hard work and making sure we are well fed despite...
Read moreThe receptionist’s way of thinking is truly baffling. I waited for my food for over an hour and even went to the front desk multiple times to ask about the progress of my order. Eventually, I couldn’t wait any longer when I noticed that tables seated after me were already being served. I went straight to the kitchen to ask the owner, only to find out that the server had told them we hadn’t ordered anything and were just sitting there waiting.
This is the first time I’ve ever been treated like this by a server. We sat there for so long, and they never once came over to check on us. I had to go to the front desk twice myself to follow up. After waiting in the restaurant for an hour, the owner finally said that my order had only just been sent to the kitchen.
I have no idea what the server was doing or why they deliberately...
