Hostal Doña Calletana — Hotel in Punta Arenas

The hostal is about 10 minutes walk away from the plaza the armas and in a quite neighborhood. The hostal offers free WiFi with medium speed and free parking in their backyard or directly at the street.|The room was big, own bathroom, heater, TV and cabin. Unfortunately it seems that our room was quite old and moldiness at the wall. Luckily we had to stay only one night. The rest was kind of clean, except few things like hairs, etc.|We had a room at the ground floor and it was very noisy due to the other guests above us. Every word, foot step of them felt like as it was in our room.|The breakfast takes place in a big living room and serves the basic standards: Ham, cheese, toast, tea, juice, coffee, cookies. However they prepare as well fresh eggs for the guests.|The payment can be done with different kind of credit cards. Prices for a double bed room were cheap.|Not sure whether we would choose this...

I only stayed 1 night | I asked to make a cup of tea outside breakfast hours and was refused. That's just being petty as far as I'm concerned not being flexible. For the price she charges a bit of hot water is not too much to ask. The room had paper thin walls and I could hear all of the guests around me snoring coughing talking etc during the night. De vista el lugar donde se encuentran las habitaciones no es muy atractivo (si lo es la casa principal donde se encuentra la administración y el comedor para tomar desayuno), las habitaciones son espaciosas, sin embargo muy simples, y se nota que los muebles y ropa de cama no han sido renovados recientemente. El baño está bien equipado y es mucho más bonito que la habitación misma. Hay jabón, shampoo y toallas. Lamentablemente, en la habitación que estaba sobre nosotros, había una pareja de ancianos con problemas de sueño que nos despertaban cada 2 horas durante toda la noche, ya que corrían por la habitación y peleaban. Lejos lo mejor de esta hostal es el desayuno. De partida lo sirven en el comedor de una casa antigua, el cual resulta muy pintoresco, con una decoración muy agradable y una iluminación natural muy acogedora. La señora que sirve el desayuno es muy amable, y el desayuno es muy completo, incluye jamón, queso, mermelada, mantequilla, huevo revuelto, café, leche, jugo y galletas.
