Costanera — Attraction in Punta Arenas

The Costanera is a very nice place to go for a walk and take a break from your busy life. It's a nice long walk along the coast where you can enjoy the wind, smell of fresh ocean air and spot a lot of different birds! In addition there are several art works and statues along the Costanera with each an interesting story or background. The beach next to the walkway is a nice place to see locals hang out and dogs run in the wind. There are several spots to sit down and just take in the calmness of the water. Costanera is breathtaking in its simplicity. I went in the summer when the weather was clear and still. The water was reflecting sunlight, and early in the morning, it was absolutely peaceful. Es una maravilla de Costanera, bonita vista, limpia, se ven los barcos, las playas, Asmar, transbordadores que van a lugares lejanos y ahí uno se da cuenta de todo el esfuerzo que se hace para mantener a Chile unido.
