Hostal Mirador — Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama

We stayed here for a few nights and found this place to be average to above average for the cost. The staff was very friendly and helped us do our laundry there for a very reasonable price! However, the WiFi was very bad and we rarely had any hot water for showers. Our private room was spacious and clean, but the bed and pillows were not very soft or comfortable. The mirador on the roof has a beautiful view and there is a community kitchen with all of the basic necessities. The rooms would get quite hot during the day, but when we would open the windows at night to cool down, random street cats would jump into our rooms via the open windows in the middle of the night and wake us up. Not a very pleasant sleep...

Quality-price is in good balance in this hostel.

The rooms are very good and clean. We had a mix up with one of the rooms so had to change but they were very friendly about it. They answered all our questions and did our laundry for a good price.

The mirador is amazing, try to get some time in between tourist visits to just sit and relax here.

The kitchen is nice, a bit thinly equipped for the amount of people that could pass, but still sufficient.

It is in walking distance of the centre but very calm, so that's nice.

There was a good and safe parking space available for us.
