Pizzería El Charrúa — Restaurant in San Pedro de Atacama

NO VAYA / DO NOT GO HERE

I went here to order take out at 9pm. I was told it would take 20 mins to cook the pizza, which was fine for me so I said ok. I paid and was given a receipt that said "hora de pedida: 9:20pm" and "Retira en: 20 min". My spanish isn't so good so I didn't realize immediately that hora de pedida was incorrect. "Hora de pedida" means time when you made the order (so should have been 9pm), and "Retira en" means time when order will be ready. When it was 9:20, I asked if my order was ready since it's been 20 mins and the server said, no wait 20 mins, and I'm like, well yes it's been 20 mins. That's when I realized that they put the wrong time in "hora de pedida" so that when you follow up your order, they can say that "it hasn't been 20 mins yet". I didn't get my order until 9:40 pm (ie 20 mins turned into 40 mins). And the pizza wasn't even that good. I WILL NOT SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT LIES AND USES DIRTY TACTICS JUST TO GET CUSTOMERS. If you can't get food out quickly for whatever reason, TELL THE TRUTH to your customers and let them decide if they are willing to wait rather than tricking them. I can see that the guy in front of me was confused as hell as well because he's been waiting a long time, unfortunately he doesn't speak spanish.

Fui aca para pedir una pizza para llevar a las 9 pm. Me dijeron que el pizza demorará 20 mins, y dije que esta bien. Pagué y me dieron una boleta que dice "hora de pedida: 9:20pm" and "Retira en: 20 min". Mi español no es bueno entonces no me di cuenta inmediatamente que la hora de pedida era incorrecta. Dps de 20 mins les pregunté si la pizza esta lista y me dijeron que "no en 20 mins" y dije que "si ha sido 20 mins". Y entonces me di cuenta que pusieron "hora de pedida" incorrecto para que pueden decir el "20 mins" aun no ha pasado. No recibí la pizza hasta 9.40 (tiempo de espera convertió de 20 min a 40 min), y ni siquiera la pizza estaba buena. NO VOY A APOYAR UN NEGOCIO QUE ENGAÑA Y USAN TRUCOS SUCIOS PARA CONSEGUIR CLIENTES. Si no pueden cocinar la comida en tiempo rapido, diles la verdad a sus clientes y dejenlos decidir si quieren esperar en vez...

I ordered a pizza with extra goat cheese at a hefty 4$ extra. The pizza came with only peperoni and mozarella, after I confirmed this to myself by tasting I wanted to tell the waitress (I supposed it had been forgotten) just to make sure they won't make me pay for it. She insisted however there was goatcheese on it, although the pizza was right there, without... Goat cheese has a very distinct taste and this was clearly not here. I am ok with smth being forgotten, but making me pay without providing... No go.

Besides, the pizza was okay, but i don't get the 5-star hype around this place. Paying 20$ for a simple pizza and a soft is like or above...

Went there for the reviews and left very confused. Nothing to say about the service or the atmosphere. Those were okay. However the pizzas were more akin to a tart than a pizza. Not a great tart either since the dough resembled bread. It was thin-ish but also half cooked, holding together thanks to the vast amounts of bland cheese. I get it, we're in the middle of the desert so I'm not even upset at the place and its staff. More upset at the reviews that makes me wish I could afford paying a plane ticket to Italy to all the people that rated those pizzas as "the best in...
