Pulperia Atacama — Restaurant in San Pedro de Atacama

We arrived in town earlier today and hadn’t eaten any real food since breakfast, so we were looking for a great place grab dinner. We were the only ones there for a little while, but then the late arriving crowd came in and filled the place by the time we left. Nice atmosphere, interesting (in a good way) yard and building, and friendly servers. I got the spinach ravioli while my wife got the fettuccine - we both got the meat sauce. Most people dined outside. The menu is in Spanish so make sure you have a way to translate if you do not speak it. Given it has Italian influences I had the seafood ravioli which was creamy and delicious. My other half had the beef and that was ok, quite heavy for me but looked nice. A slight annoyance for us was the live music which was so loud! I guess it is nice to have live music but we couldn't hear each other - I realise this may be an advantage for some couples! Update after owners reply: for one (small) pasta portion we were charged: fettuccine 9900 pesto 4200 extra shrimps (5 tiny pieces) 5000 10% extra Total 21,010
