Parking is at their other hotel on San Pedro 1 block away and to confirm pricing, pay in $US or get a receipt we had to go back and forth between the hotels to deal with the manager. We asked the reception lady at Teatinos to possibly call the other hotel instead to save some steps, but she refused. Really? My husband was unhappy with this running around and gave 1 star review right away on Google, big mistake... The owner knocked on our door at 11pm threatening us to change the rating and he knew we had to get up at 3am for a flight. Well this is totally inappropriate behavior for customer service. I would not recommend anyone to encourage this business. Running 2 hotels should make it easier, not more complicated for customers and aggressivity is never the correct approach in public service... Then they tried charging about 30% more than the agreed price with our booking agent. Very unhelpful woman at the office refused to Call the manager for us to resolve price issue so we had to walk back to other hotel again. Then trying to get a receipt was like drawing blood from a stone, so back to the other hotel a third time. 3km of walking later, Obvoiusly I gave them a bad review on google maps. Next thing at 11pm at night after we had gone to bed, we get a knock at the door with the manager all abusive for giving a bad review. AVOID...
Read moreI planned to stay at this hotel for a night but made a big mistake. The hotel is on a busy road and is very old. It has more of a 'motel'-feel to it. They also asked me to pay upfront and in cash (that should have set of the alarm bells). But, the biggest problem i had is that staff locks the front door. I can understand that you may have to buzz yourself in, but asking staff to please let you out scares me. It left me a bad feeling. When, after two hours, I decided to find another place I could not get a refund. To be expected I suppose, but......
