No keys given upon check in. I asked about how to enter at night and was assured somebody would always be at the desk at night if I rang the bell. When I actually did return to my hostel at night nobody answered the bell and I had to actually climb the gate to get back inside, and it being late at night and being a solo female traveler in a dodgy part of town this left me really unsettled. ||Additionally, the "beautiful view" and "private balcony" on the 5 person dorm are absolute baloney. Read moreMy experience at Nomada Eco Hostel was incredible the staff have become my family. They supply amazing services and entertainment, the evening I arrived they had an Asado BBQ (every Friday night) for all guests, don't miss out on this luxury feast. The second evenings entertainment was a free concert with amazing musicians and staff musicians. Absolutely the most talented group of hostel staff I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The hostel is the cleanest and most beautiful intimate accommodation I have ever come across, far better than any hotel I have stayed in. The staff helped me with my ever whim and made me feel at home. They supply wonderful yoga session. I will forever remember my time at Nomada Eco Hostel and will return as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone you made my travels to Chile some of the best...
Read moreThey moved all of my things to a different room without consulting me first, touching my personal items and opening zippers to put things inside my backpack. “They felt it was the best decision” because they had a large group that needed the eight bed room. I find this a complete violation and very inappropriate. Everyone at the hostel seems nice and apologetic but also apathetic.
The room also did not lock and the lockers were too small to fit a backpack inside. I would not return here and am distressed about how the staff...
