I recently stayed at the Bollywood Hotel with my wife, 9 month old son, and in-laws. The hotel is a smaller hotel than some of the others in the area. They have a restaurant but we didn't have a chance to try the food there. Rhe hotel is in a great location. Walking distance from alot of restaurants and shopping and near the wangfujing shopping area. Also the theres a subway entrance about a block away. The room prices were very reasonable and the service there would rival any of the 5 star hotels. Rooms are a bit small but very clean. But what stood out the most is the service we received. From the beginning, the staff made every effort to accommodate all requests and went above and beyond. When we first checked in we wanted to switch rooms so that my in-laws rooms and our room were near. They put us on the same floor and pretty much right next to each other. There was always free bottled water, ice tea and soft drinks in out room. If we ever ran out they would just bring us more. We had a late train to catch on the day of check out. They held our luggage for us after we checked out so we can enjoy the city and come back to pick up the luggage once we were ready to go to the train station. And of course all of this was free of charge. I would like to especially thank Chen Wang and Xinyu Li for their excellent service and hospitality. They really made us feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here the next time I...
Read moreThis hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Wangfujing but definitely not a good location for taking didi as the road infront of the hotel is always jammed - very bad traffic jam everyday 😓 the room & toilet ceilings have cracks and the small window in the ZEN family room should not be called a window, it’s more like a small opening that faces the side wall and has a very strong mouldy smell when opened. The corridor is so dark that I felt eerie - I don’t understand why the hotel cannot install some lights along the corridor. I had the shock of my life when someone tried to open my room door during one of the nights and when I shouted “who is that?” a female voice said “oh sorry wrong room”. There is only 1 ZEN family room on every floor so I do not believe that person tried to open the wrong door. I do not feel safe staying in this hotel. The gym at the basement is the WORST as it was filled with dust and leftover food. Even after telling the hotel staff, they did not bother to clean it. The gym is located inside a hotpot restaurant and the hotel staff said that is because the basement was rented out to a hotpot restaurant - then why bother to keep the gym when you don’t maintain it at all??? I will never stay here again and do not recommend this...
Read moreIt is a well located hotel nearby the most popular tourist district in Peking, just 5 minutes walking to MTR station or 10 minutes to Wang Fu Jink street. It is appropriated for tourists of family tour or individual surfing in Peking since tourists are easy to find restaurants and slight seeing spots around. The rooms are fine and clean relatively to the prices and equip with mini-bar, safety box and complimentary. However, the design of bath room is a bit inconvenient for users to place towels inside so we could put the towels outside and made the floor wet after stepping out the bath room. Besides, there is no right place for luggage and lacking of a comfortable chair to seat in the room. Staff are friendly and are willing to assist clients at most possible aspects. It would be even better if the hotel may train upstaff to call up or reserve taxi services to airports or train-terminal and to provide delivery services for clients. Guests may not be familiar with apps to call delivery services to pick up items in hotel. Hotel may charge this service too.Breakfast is simple and acceptable for quick meal but coffee users have to bring their favour taste...
