Paco Business Hotel -Tianhe Road — Hotel in Guangzhou City

We were in Guangzhou for the business. We stayed there for 6 nights. The location of the hotel is perfect and really close to tee mall. There are many local restaurants near the hotel. For the west brands, mc donalds is close and kfc and starbucks in tee mall is close to the hotel. They dont have the breakfast option that is the minus point for them also the chinese air conditioner is hard for us to understand whats going on. We stayed in rooms with window. It was big enough. We stayed in newly renovated rooms so still okay. Just that they might need to add more amenities in the room such as mini fridge. Another thing surprise is - you can see people drying their clothes just outside the window of your room!||||Location is great, just few steps away from metro station entrance/exits and next to a mall. TaiKooHui just opposite the hotel. Foods are easily accessible as a lot of restaurants around. But if you were to have some happy hour, we really can't find a bar...

Eines vorweg, als ich dieses Hotel buchte war mir schon fast klar das mich kein Luxushotel erwarten würde. Das Hotel liegt super zentral direkt gegenüber eines luxuriösen Einkaufszentrum, U-Bahn ist nur 2 min. entfernt. Das Gebäude wird als Büro wie auch als Hotel genutzt und ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption spricht so gut wie kein Englisch aber da kommt man schon irgendwie durch. Die Aufzüge sind furchtbar langsam und Achtung nicht jeder Aufzug fährt in jedes Stockwerk. Das Zimmer war alt, muffig und feucht, es war zwar im großen und ganzen sauber aber für mich einfach nicht tragbar. Das Zimmer ist ein dunkles muffiges Loch in den man Depressionen bekommen könnte wenn man länger dort seine Zeit verbringt. Die Dusche auch eine einzige Katastrophe, null Wasserdruck und man muss sich entscheiden ob man verbrannt werden möchte oder lieber als Eisklotz aus der Dusche kommt. Der Preis für die Zimmer kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, rund 400 RMB pro Nacht für ein muffiges Loch, nur mal so zum nachdenken aber für 300 RMB mehr kann ich im Westin übernachten. Mein Fazit, für Leute die kein Wert auf ein Minimum an Standard legen und zu viel Geld ausgeben möchten für das was man bekommt genau richtig. Ich habe nach einer Nacht das Hotel gewechselt. |P.S.
