Yimi Inn Yide Road Metro Station Branch — Hotel in Guangzhou City

First idea: location - perfect for travel and business, shopping and sightseeing Everything else is.... not so good First room we had was smelling on cigarettes, must ask for another room Another floor, but again small room, obviously a lot of people smoke in rooms, so the smell come through ventilation.Breakfast - first morning we come around 08:15, no food at all. Nothing !Waiting for 20 minutes to cook few eggs, no coffee , milk, rice or other food Reception personnel don't speak one word of English, using translation looks like too much work for them, gestures show they are annoyed with too much effort.Even manager went into discussion with us when we asked for new room, she wanted to explain us we need to use ventilation to get rid of cigarette smell.Eventough so called cleaning of room is claimed daily, on second day we stayed without toilet paper and nobody added it for next 3 daysRooms are very small, ceiling is under any standards and not cleaned properly Not one sign on English language, obviously not foreigner friendly place So, very reccomendable if you are Chinese, smoker and not eat in...

We love authentic local Guangzhou food (none of that fancy fusion stuff please!). So we were in 7th heaven when we were greeted by the sight of luscious freshly roasted goose & a huge array of rice dumplings after getting off the Yide Road subway. And as we slowly ambled our way to Yimimi we were thrilled to see shop upon shop of our old food favourites flanking both sides of the road.To our delight the lovely ladies at the reception counter allowed us to check in straightaway. The hotel itself isn’t huge but it was well maintained and clean. The small bedroom and attached bathroom were both artfully designed to accommodate all the necessary amenities. Had a nice stay at Yimi apartments. The staff were very helpful (communicating via Translate). There is an available washing machine you can use. the room was clean, and towels were changed daily which we appreciated. Water pressure was great. 7 minutes walk to the metro. Worth to mention the room is extremely small (you can barely walk around the bed) with zero storage space. When we arrived, there was an unpleasant smell in the room, like someone has smoked there.
