Jun Bo Xuan Boutique guesthouse — Hotel in Lijiang City

It was perfect place for stay in old town in Lijiang. Just at the verge of the old town it is close enough to the main road so thatyou do not have to walk far with your luggage, and just next to the heart of the old town which makes all great places within walking distance.||The guesthouse is prepred with high attention to details, very nicely decorated. The hotel service is prsent all the time and always eager to share with you cup of tea and stories. Typical Chinese breakfast but very tasty (especially mixian!) Very nic small garden in the middle of the house. ||If I was to find any kind of negative thing about the hotel it would be the pond from which you can hear the sound of falling water very clearly in your room. But there were some guests who didn't like the sound and when asked hotel service did turn off the water in the night.||What is more the prices are very reasonable in the place and you can easily connect with the owner on Wechat before your arrival. This boutique guesthouse is like our home away from home in Lijiang. The location is perfect beside a stream, in a quieter part of town but easy walking distance to restaurants, Sifang Street (town square) and Mufu, the governor’s mansion from which you can walk up to Lion’s Hill to look at the town from above. The property is a beautiful four-generation home with living and dining areas downstairs and a peaceful courtyard garden, all beautifully and authentically decorated. Our room is large with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the stream and the path alongside, an ancient bridge, and other wooden, tile-roofed buildings, the highest pagoda on Lion’s Hill in the distance, lit like a jewel at nighttime. This was the most beautiful stay for us in Lijiang ancient town. You will not regret staying at this 5 star home. The owners/host treated us like family and made us feel very comfortable and appreciated. We sat and had tea and could not stop chatting. The three sisters were very Kind, professional and their uncle, always smiling and humble . We got there very late at night and they were all up waiting for us. Breakfast was amazing and the view was spectacular. This place and the host made you forget time as it stood still. It’s a place that rejuvenates you and make you feel calm. They are located along side the river, peaceful and tranquil. We will always remember the time spent there, especially with the most beautiful, warm hearted sisters.
