Nanjing Jinying International Hotel — Hotel in Nanjing City

Firstly, I booked this room for my couple friends who was visiting China for the very first time. They stayed on two separate occassions. Not only did they receive free upgrade, they also were blown away by the facilities, location (very central and close to all good restaurants and sights), decorations, services and above all- a top notch very personal and heartwarming surprise from the staff at this most wonderful yet underrated hotel. The rooms are comfortable with strong wifi all over as well as friendly staff- they try to make everyone feel at home. The decor is cool in that it has a very old school Sherlock Holmes feel to it as well as other decor around the rooms. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is well and spacious. Toiletries provided for free of course. ||What I would like to say in particular is the attention to detail and surprise. After briefly mentioning to them that my friends are celebrating their wedding anniversary, the staff at this most wonderful hotel not only bought flowers and decorated their rooms but also bought them a wedding cake and wrote a very touching letter- signed by all the staff members. This really surprised my friends and re-defined customer service, professionalism and attentiveness which is not very common in China and especially in smaller and lesser well known hotels. I say this hotel is far more better than any of the big chain ones due to this surprise and personal touch. My friends have stayed in many hotels around the world and they said that the 5 star hotel in Australia that they spent during their honeymoon did not even match up to this hotel in Nanjing so they will return and I will personally thank them for their services as well.||This hotel accepts pre-payments in the form of bank transfers, wechat and alipay which is greatly convenient! And all of my thumbs up for a Ms Shi Tingting, guest service manager who remained in touch and gave me prompt replies with regards to such payments and transactions. Wonderfu! Wonderful! Wonderful! I stayed twice 2017 June (7 days) and this month in May 2018 (8 days). I love the decoration and concept , and I am proud to invite friends to visit me in the lobby Cafe or have dinner in the restaurant at 27th floor. ||||I also used the free Gym and pool at 26th floor many times. The cleaniness of closets /shelves in the Male changing room of the pool was not enough, with dusts.||||Friendly and polite receptionists and cleaning staffs. ||||The breakfast was very great, but not included in the price.
