Avoid enrolling at this university, especially if you're an international student. The high ratings seem questionable, often from club presidents or those with certain advantages. The university's portrayal is misleading, with frequent, unexpected changes in rules, payments, and management, and little support from faculty. During online admissions, they overload you with documents to memorize and rules to follow, without proper guidance.

The admission office teachers, who are responsible us as well are overwhelmed and often unhelpful. Each teacher are responsible for two batches and that's why they're always overwhelmed and whenever we need something or go to them to seek for something the way they act as if it's our fault. They never listen or solve any problems. So the biggest concern becomes why do they take international students then? They could add more teachers, one faculty for the admission related and another one responsible for us. You can think of asking the class monitor but they're just a student like us so how would they know everything?

The OTA office staff, in particular, are quite rude compared to those in the OSA office. They rarely follow up on WeChat as promised, and their behavior is off-putting. After Covid they won't even add you back for in WeChat or ever reply at all!!!! As international students without local support, we find it hard to approach them for help due to their dismissive attitude.

You have to struggle with the sudden changes to the scholarship policy at my university, which now includes a volunteer workbook on top of exams. It seems designed to deter international students like me from receiving scholarships. We're unfairly expected to meet the same standards as local students, ignoring our unique challenges and resulting in higher costs than them. Proficiency in HSK 4 is essential due to the language barrier. So it's better if you can complete it as soon as you come.

The university prioritizes its image over the quality of education for medical students. The non-medical staff don't understand our complex studies, and the housing policy is particularly harsh for those of us who came alone, forcing us to find a roommate or pay for a full room. This treatment creates an unwelcoming and inequitable environment for international students.

The university's system is disappointing. Teachers are smart but hard to understand due to their accents. Students skip classes because they can't follow along, and attendance seems more important than actual learning. Exams and labs overlap, causing stress. Failing too many subjects means repeating a year. Despite cameras, cheating happens often. It's affecting my well-being. China is great for studying, but research and talk to students before choosing...
