My room was without a window. I would not recommend it ever. I would not allow by law any hotel in China to sell a windowless rooms because they are a hazard, especially if a gas leak is in question. There is nowhere for the gas to go, so a person trapped in such room would certainly die. Also, it is a fire hazard. The hotel was dirty, very dirty. You can see from my photos, hairs were everywhere in bathroom and in the room (on the table, bed, floor). I had to clean everything with my alcohol wet wipes. They did not even try to hide how they keep the used bedding laundry in a dirty room, putrid, literally putrid. The door of that room was left open so anybody could see. They were completely shameless about their dirt. The white pillow cases were of a yellow hue, greasy. Obviously they do not bleach those bed sheets and pillow cases. Bathroom towels were rugs, ripped on the edges. My room was without window, oppressive stench of mold and mildew was coming from the very dirty AC, which had some strange dirty holes in it. Because of the unbearable stench of the mold and health hazard, I had to shut down the AC. The door knob was green rusty, sticky and dirty. Fake leather of the bed was damaged by somebody obviously dropping cigarette on it and damaging it. That fake leather thing above the bed looked old, outdated with dirty and sticky plug-ins. Toilet seat was at least twice smaller than the toilet bowl. There was a strange high stepped bathroom floor, so when you enter the bathroom the ceiling is lower, not suitable for tall people. The building is old and dirty, where delivery men are allowed to go up on elevator and behave like wild animals. Nobody spoke a word of English in this hotel. My room was quite dark room, depressive and damp. If thee hotel is a budget hotel, it does not mean that it needs to be...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE!! I have to say that I stayed in this hotel few time, never had a issue. Last Saturday me and my girlfriend we had a nightmare there. At 2 am sleeping SUDDENLY A MAN OPENS OUR DOOR. My girlfriend shouted and I opened my eyes seeing a man looking at us, I run to him, man seemed to be a bit drunk and bit creepy. I took him to the receptionist, and the receptionist told me that the man has MASTER KEY and he doesn’t know how he have that key and who is that man that is not registered in the hotel. I called the police, conclusion of the police is that the man didn’t mean to come to my room. But about the question of why this random, weird man has a MASTER KEY, nobody till now replied that to me.Hotel management apologized for the issue and they refund to me.BUT still want to know how that happened . Me and my girlfriend...
Read moreHotel Meego Youth, the female customer service, I forgotten her name she is very helpful. I called from Airport at 3am she still stays until I arrive and keeps assisting me throughout the WeChat around 7plus am I finally reached the hotel. I was waiting for the train to be opened by 6am because my Didi e-Hailing didn't have a proper set up and the random taxi asked 250 yuan instead of the train for just 14.25 yuan. Shanghai is safe and I felt very much comfortable as a Muslim female solo traveler and I'm extremely impressed by the very beautiful scenery day or night sightseeing are cleaned, the signage as for non Chinese speakers my honest opinion China government is literally well considerate and welcome us. Very convenient. I've been entering China 3 times (Hong Kong, Shenzhen & Shanghai) and look forward to exploring more...
