This hotel is at a very convenient location, right opposite to King Glory Mall (Jinguanghua Mall) and metro station. Around the hotel, there are lots of restaurants, right opposite to the hotel, there is a Hong Kong style cafe, it opens 24 hours. It makes it easier for the hotel guests when they arrive late and want to eat. I stayed in Room 621, it is facing the main street. But inside the room, it was really quiet and similar to sound - prove, which is excellent. The shower waterflow is strong and with adequate supply of hot and cold water. The cleaning ladies are really helpful. This is an old hotel, but it has the security system, only hotel guests with room cards can get access to their floor and rooms, which is much safer. The hotel facilites is a bit out - dated, in the room the television is too old and the colour display is all red, they need to change their television into newer model. Also inside the bathroom, it was a bit dark, it would be better if there is enough lighting. There should be a small mirror which makes it more convenient for the ladies who need to do...
Read moreWe were a group of 9 people staying in 4 rooms in this hotel. Our room was number 730....the room the hotel forgot to clean.||The carpet was filthy. You could actually see dirt on it. Clothes tags on floor from previous guests. The area in the corners of the room had not been cleaned in a long time. The mattress on the bed was very hard. The towels were threadbare and yellow coloured...although these improved on the second night. Because of the shape of our room the wardrobe was squeezed in to a corner. You could probably hang baby sized clothes in it. Because of the dirt in the room we left all of our stuff in our suitcases, we felt it cleaner to do this. We were not given any complimentary water. We stayed for two grim nights here.||Our other family members seemed to fare better with their rooms. Maybe room 730 at the end of the corridor on the top floor is the room that staff have no energy left to clean....
Read moreIt was our 2nd time staying in the hotel, the first being in Dec 2017. We returned because of the shopping and eateries options nearby, as well as closeness to the subway station. Need to pay RMB 400 as deposit for the accommodation. When we tried to borrow an umbrella as it was raining outside, we were asked to pay RMB 50 as deposit. Front desk staff were cold and robotic when dealing with guests just like our previous stay. It really does help make guests feel welcome with just a simple smile or a friendly nod - all these lacking of the staff. Hotel provides free wifi but the connection is usually unstable! Have to ask for replenishment of Bath soap and toilet paper a few times during our 4 nights stay. Cleaners probably overlooked every time, and only replenish a...
