We stayed here for 3 days during Carnival. It is a nice hotel that has many good points - clean, good buffet breakfast, nice beds and pillows, on site free parking, close to restaurants and a mall etc. But 2 main problems. The water is dangerously hot in the shower. You will scald yourself if not careful. And they have very annoying key practices. They issue 1 key card that must be used to open the door then put in a slot to turn on the power and AC in the room (normal in many hotels), but they will not issue a 2nd card. So if you go down to breakfast while your wife is still sleeping you have to knock on the door to be let back in. And you cannot leave the door ajar as it will start beeping. Also strange, the asked us to turn in the key card each time we went outside and had to remake a key for us every time we came back. Half the time they did not work and someone from the staff had to go upstairs with us to let us in. Really? It's 2020, all these problems have been solved long ago. They should issue 2 key cards upon request and we should keep them with us - like every other hotel.||We also found that our room, 405, had bar/disco noise until the wee hours, every night. We booked a room for one night during Carnival. When we returned to the hotel at night, we were told our room was no longer available due to a technical issue with the key card system. Allegedly, the issue was discovered in the afternoon, and they claimed they tried to contact us — but not by email or via the booking tool.
The actual cancellation, however, only happened at 10 pm. What made it even stranger was that only two rooms were affected, and we strongly believe the room could have been accessed without a key card, even if the power was out — we only needed a place to sleep.
They had previously confirmed that we could drop off our luggage in the morning (as we did) and arrive late, as the reception is staffed 24/7.
No proper solution was offered at first. Only after insisting several times did the receptionist contact two other hotels.
We ended up in a hotel with a much lower standard (dirty room, no window, poor rating).

Les recomiendo solicitar cualquier piso la habitación terminada en 11 o 07 (no recuerdo bien este o si es la 08) pues son las habitaciones mejores equipadas y más grandes de cada piso y no tienen cobro adicional ejemplo habitación 411 ( habitación 11 del piso 4)
Ahora si bien no están disponibles o les dicen que es imposible asignar la habitación deseada rueguen que sea una esquinera que son 2 ubicadas opuestas a la 11 de cada piso.
La razón de que ojalá sean esquineras es porque son más amplias que las que no son esquineras exceptuando la 11 y la 07 que si son mucho más amplias; además de esto estas cuentan con ventanas factor el cual carecen las demás habitaciones y solo tienen una pequeña ventana pegada al techo con dimensiones aproximadas de 10 cms de alto por 50 de largo, no se aprecia la vista ni nada.
Otro factor a tener en cuenta con estas habitaciones no esquineras es que son mucho más reducidas
En mi primera visita me toco una de estas y era muy pequeña, aparte de que encontré el baño ( específicamente la ducha ) en un pésimo estado de higiene
El desayuno está incluido desde las 6:00 am hora local y antes no lo atienden a uno, tuvimos buenas y malas experiencias con el desayuno, nada en concreto
Ahora porque 2 estrellas? Pues me parece que como local guide es mi deber informar de las inconsistencias que se pueden encontrar en este recinto, pueden tener suerte y disfrutar un montón la estadía o como pueden tener de las peores estadías como nos paso en nuestra primera visita.
