The employees have great customer service. The interior of the building is old construction and well maintained however the rating of the hotel should not be as high as advertised. A reservation was made for the 2 level sweet that has a full bathroom, kitchen, small dinette & living room with flat screen tv and bedroom while the second floor has a livingroom, fireplace and bedroom in an open space separated by the fireplace, a small hall with closets and a full bathroom with a 2 person jacuzzi. The kitchen did not have much silverwear, only for a single person (if I recall there was 1 butter knife, 3 forks and one spoon) a small pot, no pans and no napkins. This is the first expierence I have had in a hotel where you are charged for the single use coffee or tea packets that are used in single serve brewer. So far the other hotels in different countries that have not charged for coffee include Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy,, Norway, Peru, Spain, United Kindom a d the United States. The first floor bathroom does not have a shut off switch for the bathroom light, the only option is to remove the room key card from the slot and all the lights in the room get shut off so the only option was to keep the door closed due to the light that reacted o Up thru the stairwell into the open bedroom. The stairwell does not have a banister and the steps are slightly taller than normal so tripping ca easily occur. During the reservation the employee expressed it was a 2 person jacuzzi however renter be aware, the jets for the jacuzzi are made for a single person. Two people can lay on their sides facing each other splitting the jets for 1 person or an face each other while not enjoying the jets. The on/off switch is faulty a d only allows for the tub to be turned on. While attempting to shut it off it would only stop for a moment and then turn on again. The only way to make sure that the jacuzzi was off was to hold the button and drain the water below the nozzle and the jets. If you plan on sleeping in make sure you place the "Do Not Disturb" sign out and make sure they are done with the interior repairs/maintenance. The noise can...
Read moreThe staff were very friendly and made an effort to speak some English, which I appreciated. The room was huge, and having a fireplace was a cool touch. But the living room felt bare, just a couch, recliner, and table in a massive space. It honestly reminded me of something I might’ve thrown together in college when I didn’t have much money. Functional, but not exactly cozy or well-designed.
That said, the full kitchen was a huge plus—big fridge, microwave, plates, utensils—it really made the room feel like a full apartment. The bed was comfortable, and although there were a couple of items left behind from the previous guest (like a coin and a hairpin), it didn’t bother me too much.
The bathroom had both a tub and a shower, which was a nice surprise. I didn’t get to try the pool, but I heard it had jets and looked nice.
What really stood out was the gym access. While there’s no gym on-site, the hotel partners with a luxury gym just two blocks away, and it was honestly the best gym I’ve ever used at a hotel. Three floors, cycling, cardio, weights, and fitness classes. If fitness matters to you, then that alone is a good reason to go to this gym.
I made a mistake and left my passport in my room and the hotel was nice enough to reach me on WhatsApp and help me get my passport back. I really appreciated that.
Overall the stay didn’t feel “luxurious” but it had everything needed and more. That’s why I’m still...
Read moreWe stayed 9 full nights. I was very pleased with our room, we had a suite with a sitting area, a bedroom with a king size bed, a kitchen, and a beautiful bathroom. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well serviced. We had a beautiful and relaxing view of the small park next door. The area of Bogota nearby is connected by greenways, small parks, and walkways so that you can walk to nearby shops comfortably away from the busy streets. This was an important benefit for us. Bogota is extremely congested and the busy streets are very polluted, but this hotel is in a nice quiet location away from the busy streets. We had a couple of small issues but these did not seriously interfere with our pleasant stay. The kitchen was somewhat sparsely furnished for cooking but after requesting some additional items we were fine. In addition, there was a lot of noise from birthday parties on the first floor, making our third floor room uncomfortably noisy during the celebrations. The hotel should think about measures to limit the noise. We had dinner a couple of times in the restaurant which was fine. I wouldn't make this a special stop but the service was excellent and the food was more than adequate. There are two restaurants nearby, a Sushi place and a Steakhouse, I would recommend neither. Overall, Hotel 101 Park House was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to...
