Some of the staff were rude and unhelpful. At times we felt like we were a nuisance to them. They definitely were nor happy and smiling in their work. On one occasion, returning from a day sightseeing, the room had not been made up, so we decided to wait in the bar area. We tried to order cocktails only to be told no, as the bar man didn't know what to charge for them. On another occasion, the same barman, Victor, took so long to bring our order for 2 beers, we are talking 20+ minutes, and I had to make a complaint at reception. There was no apology given for this slow service. Furthermore, Victor charged a service charge without asking if we would pay, and also charged more on the card machine, than the price of the drinks. In all, this made our stay quite uncomfortable, and I had to question whether there was some subconscious homophobia going on, as we are a gay couple. There is a tremendous amount of learning needed at the Mercure Calle 100 to come from...

The choice was primarily driven by location to avoid the notoriously bad traffic as much as possible, with six trips to the airport and two to downtown over a period of two weeks. Paid off, as the airport trips were accomplished mostly in 30-40 minutes (once an hour in really bad traffic), and downtown was also under an hour. The hotel itself is nothing outstanding, a reasonably good average hotel that could be anywhere in the world. The only negative comment I would have is that I'm accustomed to the worldwide Mercure standard of havinig tea/coffee available in the room on waking up, here the coffee maker was there but only usable with the rather pricey capsules from the minibar (or the sachets in my briefcase picked up from other stays around the world...). The restaurant lacks ambiance, the choice is limited but what is available is good with a nice staff. Altogether a pleasant experience, serving the purpose, but nothing...

Señora Norma Delgado, I would like you to know how great and PROFESSIONAL is your entire staff. Angela Malagon and Señor William at the front desk were always very kind and extremely helpful with all our needs. Señor Víctor, Señor Mateo and Señora Angie Gómez always made sure our breakfast was hot and very well prepared. When we needed room service they always brought our food quickly and they were always smiling. Señora Janette and Señora Sile always prepared our rooms perfectly and treated all of us with tremendous cariño. Señora Janette and Señora Sile are full of life and happiness. Señor Carlos and Señor Rafael at the front desk were also very, very kind and helpful as were Señor Orlando and Manuel. The staff you have working here is PURO ORO!! Todos son excepciónal. Gracias,...

Okay for the money but not even a free coffee or water is a bit exaggerated. It’s far away from everything but at least there are some convenience stores around. The area is for business only. No restaurant, no supermarket.you need a taxi for everything. One strange thing is that the building was kind of shaking the whole day. First I thought it was the bed then I saw some other guests telling me the same thing. Not really for people with earthquake (?) phobia. Very, very weird movement in the 8th floor. No clue if it was a permanent earthquake or coming from the heavy traffic outside. I never have experienced stg like this. And no, I wasn’t drunk😂.

The internet speed inside the room is unbelievably slow — so slow that in 2025 it feels unacceptable. I rely on stable Wi-Fi to work, but the connection is almost unusable. Honestly, it made me want to leave the hotel immediately. A hotel that cannot provide a decent internet connection in this day and age is a huge disappointment.
