Restaurante Lomos — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

My wife, Lynn, and I visited Bogota 2 years ago and couldn’t wait to return. We are staying in the same neighborhood and discovered a restaurant we hadn’t been to before — Restaurante Lomos. This restaurant is wonderful. We have now eaten there 3 times and enjoyed a few different entrees. The Lomos al Trapo is amazing, as is the Baby Beef Steak and the Steak Pimienta. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is beautiful. On each of our visits we were greeted warmly by Juan Paolo, a true gentleman who always made sure we had a pleasant experience. Best thing ever, I'm a meat fanatic, and have eaten from wagyu meat to the toughest cut from Angus cows, and this restaurant does a perfect job in the lomo al trapo, the Brandy touch at the end is the perfect finishing, totally recommended. The place is still the same as 20 years ago and the service is ok. The reason why you have to go there is the food. Might not be cheap but everything I have tried is delicious and the portions are huge. Totally worth it for those meat...
