Hatsuhana — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

We arrived around 8:00p, they greeted us when we walked in and told us to sit wherever we wanted, we sat down and were ignored for 10-15 mins before we left. No menus, no water… it was very quiet several people were standing around doing nothing, a server at a nearby table taking payment made eye contact with me, finished taking the payment and never returned. They were open for another 1.5-2 hours so it’s not like we were near closing or busy so there’s no excuse. I got the vibe that it was because we were younger than their normal customer and maybe a little underdressed. Anyway, their loss, cute vibe and we were looking forward to trying the food and having some sake. Will not be going back.

We found a consistent discrepancy in the advertised prices on your website vs. The bill. The host who brought the bill was clearly impacient and annoyed, when we reviewed and questioned the discrepancy.

We brought this to the attention to the manager, who escalated it to upper management. Upper management simply sent an "I'm sorry" whatsapp message, but no adjustments were made. This is simply not acceptable, it's misleading and deceitful. A dispute from my bank it's on the way, as after a month, no follow up was ever provided.

Will not recommend to friends or family. Overpriced. Attitude and lack of ownership...

Update! Quality droped, sushi is not the same any more, last time I went was very disappointed.

It's a lovely place, a very Japanese style, and very nice food. I can not say its the best one in Bogotá, because i didn't try all of them, but its my favourite Japanese restaurant l. It is expensive, but quality is also good, as for me, sushi is something that better pay more and have quality fish. My only criticism is that service should be more attentive to the tables, but otherwise, service was friendly. I definitely recommend this place; they have big rooms for private parties or just...
