Hotel NH Bogotá Metrotel — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

The staff really made this an amazing place to stay in! Everyone was helpful and friendly. That makes a difference when you’ve travelled a world away to visit this amazing city!

The highlights: The hotel is in a busy part of Bogota. That said, a lot of places are easily accessible from here. They have a restaurant that also serves a buffet breakfast. I hear it’s pricey but for the quality of food, I’d gladly pay. Room Service was great. They do offer tours (maybe in partnership with the tour companies). Ask the front desk. They have a booklet of things to do in and around Bogota. The room we stayed in was clean, had awesome views of the city and the mountains and a great view of the hustle and bustle of Bogota. Considering this was not our first choice, this is a major upgrade from the first NH hotel we booked. So glad they overbooked the other hotel or we would never have found...

Would've been completely fantastic if I didn't get money stolen out of my personal belongings. Which I normally kept locked at all times. The hotel is great in quality and experience. Except someone kept going through all of my personal belongings until they eventually found something. Word of advice, upon arrival immediately ask for all of the security measures you can take with your belongings (they don't really advertise it) and ask them to show you where the safe is in your room. This hotel was fine. That's all. It is located in a decent part of Bogota. A lot of people like the breakfast here. I felt it was overpriced and preferred eating at the bakery down the street. It is easy to catch an Uber in the area. They use a diffuser to make the hotel smell good, but it bothered my eyes and nose. I know some people like that kind of thing, though.
