At first, I was a little intimidated by the large city & all the traffic & noise but this hotel was perfect for our needs! We had an amazing time and the staff went out of their way to make us happy & ensure we had the best experience. In particular, Jorge, Gabriel, and Oscar were extraordinary & made our experience the most memorable! Jorge spoke perfect English and always came over to talk to us to make sure all our needs were met. He even arranged for us to have a personal driver (Gabriel) for the entire day at a very reasonable cost ($52 USD) to take us wherever we wanted and included a few surprise stops to Laguna Guatavita (which ended up being too intense/too much walking for us so we didn't actually do that tour, but the scenic views were incredible!), and La Casa Loca which was a great tourist attraction. Gabriel our driver was the perfect tour guide - he loves this country and shared so many stories on the history along the way, it was incredible & such a personal experience that we will never forget. He didn't speak any English but went out of his way to use Google translate when we needed it (I speak some Spanish & understood a lot of what he said as he spoke slowly & was so patient with me when I didn't understand.) He made the day so fun & unique!!! We were so impressed with how much English several of the hotel staff spoke, and even the ones who didn't, tried really hard to speak English to make our trip the most memorable. Oh, and the lounge/bar on floor 11 is a hidden gem of this hotel - you can see the whole city, beautiful sunsets, fun atmosphere, even American rock music! Cannot say enough good things about this hotel- I will always remember the hospitality, generosity, and kindness shown to us! They arranged for our ride to airport at 4am and helped with our bags. Fantastic breakfast too! We felt like queens thanks to the entire staff - especially Jorge, Gabriel, and Oscar. Keep up the great work - you really impressed us!! Photos are from our day trip with Gabriel, the overview of Bogota & view from the lounge of the hotel. There is an amazing pastry shop across the street from the hotel (pictured here too). You must stop here to grab something sweet!! Some of the downsides are the inability to temperature control the room (which is likely due to the mild temps, no real need for AC or heat in February & they happily provide space heaters if needed), and the street noise until about 11pm/midnight - easily solved by ear plugs (which I always bring on my travels anyway). I always felt safe & well cared for!

Tired and Dated WE chose this hotel only because of its Long-term stay options and an apart-hotel kind of vibe. However this turned out to be nothing like a classic Radisson and overall experience was less than expectations. Though this dated hotel is starting to show its wear and tear, during my stay here, I was impressed by the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. If not for the Sweet staff (especially the Front office staff), I would have given this property a less than 3 stars! LOCATION:Situated in the Chapinero district, the hotel is within walking distance of popular shopping centers like Andino and El Retiro, as well as a variety of restaurants and cafes. This prime location made it easy to explore the vibrant city of Bogotá. DINE + DRINK:The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it convenient to explore nearby attractions and dining options. ROOM: We stayed in Room 832, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweet views of the city and the mountains from lovely big windows ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good Radisson branded toiletries FACILITIES: Very decent Gym with a full range of weights and Cardio machines, though most of them were quite old and dated! SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to CLAUDIA at Front desk and Miguel - the bell hop. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

We stayed here for 8 nights, and this was actually our second time at this hotel. We booked a suite for this stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient. Even though the official time was 3:00 pm, we were given our suite a little earlier at 1:00 pm, which was a nice courtesy. The reception staff were professional and quick, and the lobby staff were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with blackout curtains in both the bedroom and living room. The bed and bedding were cozy, and while the room wasn’t completely soundproof, noise was never an issue for us. A couple of small maintenance details could use attention—the bedside lamps and the kitchenette faucet were a bit loose. The suite came with a kitchenette, but it didn’t have plates, cutlery, or utensils. We weren’t planning on cooking, so it wasn’t a big deal, but it would be helpful if the hotel clarified whether these items are available on request. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was a highlight. There was a wide variety of food, with choices that rotated regularly, and the breakfast staff were attentive even during the busy rush. The gym was functional but starting to show its age - some equipment seemed past its best days, and a refresh would make a big difference. We noticed that not much has changed since our last visit in 2022. The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants, malls, and supermarkets nearby. The hotel itself is beginning to show signs of aging and could benefit from a full refurbishment, as well as more attention to detail—for example, our room was initially set up for one person even though we booked for two, though staff quickly fixed it when we pointed it out. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. What really stands out is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - they make you feel welcome. Despite a few areas that could be improved, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
