This was the first place I ever stayed when I started visiting Colombia back 2011. This hotel was centrally located within walking distance to public transportation(Transmillenia Station Calle 72) into Downtown Bogota or Uptown Bogota. They served me a hot typical Colombian breakfast with scrambled eggs, toast, fresh juice, and coffee. The bed was pretty comfortable and the bathroom was good condition. The internet didn't work in the room you have to use it in the reception from what I recall but I stayed here about 4 days before heading to Cartagena. I was on budget, so it worked for me at that time. I recommend this hotel to Budget Travelers visiting Bogota for short stay....

Cons: Room was very small, smelled musky, bed reminded me of what I slept in at summer camp (if I had ever been in jail, I imagine this is what I would have slept in), very noisy at almost all hours (had to use my tablet to blast rain sounds just to get to sleep), no light by the bed (thank goodness for cell phone flashlights), poor housekeeping (my toilet didn't get cleaned until the last day).
